4ws question...

So my 4ws is having a problem. When it is turned on, as I get to higher speeds, the wheel is needed to be turned more and more to one side to compensate for the 4ws trying to turn. But if I disable the 4ws, the wheel is perfectly fine.

Ive read a few old posts here, and it seems like its either the rear shaft is misaligned (Not counting it out, since the guy who put in my tank could have screwed up putting i back in correctly), or the timer unit.

Anyone have a link or a description on how to verify that the rear shaft is aligned correctly? Or how to troubleshoot the timer unit?

Well I found something similar:http://www.mx6.com/forums/aus-import...ent-guide.html (4WS Repair & Alignment Guide)

But with no pics it's a bit hard to see whats going on...

I need to get rid of my 89 Probe manual and get an 89 MX6 manual

I got my alignment done no problem Though they said they couldnt fix the -.8 degrees of camber on the rear. Said "There's no adjustment for camber in the rear".

Well, that and they still left me with -.5 degrees in the front also. But thats not enough to really care about...

I guess I just need to dig thru my computor and find where I have pictures of the 4ws section of the manual saved, and then go thru those 30 pages and find where it deals with the alignment.....
