Dayum that car is clean. I hope a member here grabs it up.
If i had to do it all over again...i wouldn't go 4ws knowing what i know now about gas tanks. Now if i could just find a good clean hatch! |

Okay -- rank the following ( good, better, best -) and provide a reason why?
And which one is actually possible to get/acquire/make in the old USofA ? Hatch with 4ws, hatch with 4wd, or hatch with 4ws + 4wd? (given that none of these exist in the USofA.. and I like though experiments.. ) Somehow, I don't think my wife would allow me to acquire the aforementioned machine, and make a 4ws Hatch.. it just isn't in the cards. I don't have the time, and since I only have one car.. well.. I'd need to get another hatch.. and I've promised myself, if I get another hatch, I'm making a supercharged FE-DOHC first.. ![]() |

They can be repaired, or just find a virgin 4WS with no rust in teh south like me, muwahahahaha ![]() Has anyone considered just sectioning a standard tank? You would need nothing more than to cut out a section on the bottom and wels in a curved peice to clear the transfer shaft...only slight problem would be having the mount for the transfer pump, but im sure you can cut a hole and transfer it over.... |

I know on Jeff's old 4ws, someone went thru all the trouble of converting to "2ws" because of the gas tank problem, but all they did was hack off the old tank and the transfer shaft, then put in a 2ws tank in (Probably not even the transfer pump, if thats possible) and called it a day |
