Possible aftermarket option for 4WS rear sway!

Last year I stupidly bought a Protege5 Progress 22mm rear sway bar, thinking that it would bolt up to my 97 626...WRONG. So it's been collecting dust in my garage ever since.

Well when I was unbolting my endlinks to send to King to get custom ones made, I noticed that the factory rear sway bar looked damn near identical to the protege5 bar. Well today I tossed it on the ground underneath the car and I'll be damned. The thing looks almost identical, proper width, proper angle of the end link mounts...it even has the same bends!

I couldn't get pictures today because it was pouring rain and wet, but should be able to tomorrow. It's supposed to be dry all day.

I have a Racing Beat sway for a protegay if any other of you 4WS guys want to give it a try.

make what? the pedestal mounts? unless he has a progress rear sway from a P5 and a 1st gen 4ws, then probably not.
