ACT meet - cruise 27/07/07

So I thought it would be fun to meet up with some people this Friday night.

National Museum car park. Meet there at 19:30-20:00 hang around car park for a bit and then.... well that is up to some sort of vote on the night.

If there are any questions, like where is the museum and stuff, post them here and I will answer.

I will bring my camera, but I am not sure if the light will be any good.

Ah crap!! The Eagles are gonna play the Bulldogs (AFL) and they're telecasting it in Canberra (very rare for the tellie to telecast an Eagles game, let alone 2 weekends in a row) so I'm gonna have to leave at 8:30pm

Can we make it like 6:30 or 7pm?

Granted I dont' have a VCR anymore.

Anyway sure we can start things early. Not sure what time I will leave work today, but I will let you guys know here. Hmm I also live in Lyneham, so it will only take me 5 minutes to get to the meeting place.
There might be 2 (two) Cosmos there tonight!

If your heading there on parkes way, it's signposted, just south of the anu. I'll see if I can bring some stickers along at the moment they're gathering dust lol. p.s I think the road to the museum is called edinburgh ave

So coming from Belco on Parkes Way, can I turn right onto Lawson?

Need to get off at the turnoff after the tunnel, theres an overpass which you turn right onto, should be signposted aussie museum, keep on going, through the roundabout, should see the museum car park at the end, I normally park furthest away from the museum. Fair amount of lighting there.

I will still turn up if it is raining hard.

If it is hailing then probably not. I am sure there is something we can stand under near the museum if it is raining hard.

So if raining hard park near museum, if not, then down the other end with Odin.

Hopefully it won't be raining much. But I have heard some severe weather warnings this arvo.
