so if i get one of these chips i could pull 180 kw out of my mx6 just out of a chip....it seems like heaps hey...my mx6 and any mx6 comes out with 100 kw stock and maybe chuck a couple more on that for the pod filter, and the exhaust system...and with this chip i could gain an extra 60+ kw...if some one can prove this to me ill get one straight away....

Power is up by 60HP from stock. (most of which comes from safely running more boost).

How much power and torque does this upgrade give me over stock

Depending on which level your car is at to start with.
Stock + 15psi =>130kW and 340Nm
Exhaust, hi-flow +15psi => 180kW and 440Nm

hmm im really interested in this mod...

one thing id like to know, is will it decrease fuel efficiency when it comes to daily driving and highway cruising?

it sounds like it will from this statement:

Economy
If you lift the boost to 15psi, but rarely drive it at 15psi (2 stage MBC) your fuel consumption will go down.
However if you always drive flat out your fuel consumption will be greater than at 7.8psi, but less than a stock unchipped motor at 15psi.

i would only want to be running about 10-12 pounds of boost, but i would consider an ecu upgrade as well if it increased overall power and efficiency of the engine. (read: less fuel use when i want it and more power when i want it)

anyone got any input on fuel use?

^i like the red font too

As barry expalined it to me and as I understood if you have 2 boost settings then you shoudl eb fine petrol will be fine cause you cna just run in low boost when you like and flick to hi when you wnat the extra speed...basically fuel economy will improve if ya run it that way
