some1 selling an intake for g1 mx6 turbo

hey guyz im looking for an intake manifold that comes between the intercooler the throttle body.

Do you mean the pipe that bolts to the gearbox? It would go from the TB boot to half way to the exit side of the intercooler.

I've got one i was saving to sell with the car incase the next owner does not want the BOV.

PM me an offer and ill see if its worth it for me.

its the piece of rubber that bends down and reduces size holds on to the throttle the first thing u see next to the turbo intercooled. sorry dont really know the exact name.

Good ones are rare these days, there was someone moulding them on here a year or so ago but have not heard about it in ages.

Again ive got a spare one ready in case i split one, i would let it go for $60 just for the sake that im selling up soon and may not need it. (knocks wood)

you can buy brand spanking new ones from mazda.

cost like $140 but it's very solid, and doesn't flex at all.

maybe just good for a piece of mind..

alryte will give a call. coz d mechanix said they called mazda n that they didnt have any in stock. not for 1st gen mx6 and went on babbling about itz an import and they have none.

remember you have the same engine as a 626 turbo, a/t telstar turbo etc.

say part just different cars

Problem is they stopped producing the Thailand made ones - YES boys Thailand.

SEE - here is what occured.

when they opened up the Thailand / ford mazda plant in 1999. They decided to move all obsolete spares creation there.

the MX-6/626/tx-5 F2T TB boot is one of them.

So now if it's not on melbournes shelf - they must put a order into Japan - So it becomes a EX japan. They search there shelf and then it's sent back with YEs or NO.

if Yes it takes time

I myself have picked up handbrake cables for the 626 GV - same as GD but the MX-6 is on order from japan 2 weeks old and NO NEWS from japan. Along with a new input shaft as well.
As I need one to get A box going while I work on my Race box.

Oh yeah if you nee one in Sydney.
