FE3 turbo manifold

Hi all,
Its time i got my FE3 project started. (serious this time)
The motor goes into the shop for a full rebuild (been sitting for far too long)

I am still chassing some parts
I am primarily after a turbo manifold.
Can anyone help ?

Dont think you'll be lucky enough to find one for sale.

Best bet is a custom made one.

Alternatively, buy one for another 4 cyl engine and chop the flange off, weld a FE3 head flange on.

Mitusbishi EVO ones are a nice match, as are SR20 ones.

I wouldnt say the SR20 ones are good match, theyre way off compared to an EVO, I got an SR20 one to try before deciding it was not going to work

84 626 sedan FE SOHC turbo (sleeper) soon to be DOHC
89 626 5 door F2T now with VF34
90 323 sedan B6 SOHC Slug-o-matic DD, sold...too slow

If the manifold you're looking for as the same as an F2T one, I have 2 stock ones at home I'm not using. give me a call or a text Matt 027 355 9001.

fe3 flange is totally different then the f2t flange. ports are way off, and so are the bolt holes.

Hi all,

thanks for the replys.
I can get hold of a stock FE3 manifold.
It might help with getting a custom turbo manifold made up.
It will at least give an idea of space and clearances of where to position the turbo flange so to stay well clear of the power steering ect.

A ready made one would be really easy

I will keep my ear to the ground.
