Sign-up for a Private Viewing of the RX-8

Hi Groovers,

I've just gotten off the phone to Mazda and subsequent to my perstering them for a special session for us (the soon to be ??????? club) they have organised a "Private Viewing" of the car.

This is the car that will lead Mazda's spearhead back into the luxo-coupe / sports car arena - the one they so tragically dropped in '97.

The private viewing will take place at the Sydney Motor Show - outside of normal show hours and will MOST LIKELY be October 17. The private viewing is by invitation only (these will be personally addressed and sent from Mazda) and is limited to 50 people. We have an allocation of 8 places.

Please respond quickly if you would like to attend as I need to get a full name and address listing to Mazda by next Tuesday.

If there's any seats left over the Probers who read here are more than welcome to take them. @-

BF: My information is that the RX-8 will NOT be at the Melbourne Motor Show....

I would like to found out how everyone else is getting there(where they are staying etc). I can work my plans around other people.

I pefer a lift, but not fussed

I'm driving up, and haven't decided where to stay yet... prolly one of the hotels at Darling Harbour - next to the exhibition building.

Should organise with the others that are coming a travel plan,
like we a book a room at the same place etc

I don't mind ringing around and getting prices etc

With just a day left and with only 5 respondents I opened this up to the MX-5ers and they have taken the final spots LUVKIL. I just came back in here to update the thread as soon as I found out! aarrgghhh!

Let me try and swing an extra seat for you. In the meantime - email me your postal address so I can advise Mazda if they give us the go-ahead for an extra person! ric@beyondsoftware.com.au

Well all spots (plus one) taken guys... we'll have two driving up from Melbourne - from Sydney there'll be three (maybe 4) 2nd gen MX6's plus 3 MX-5s from Sydney including my brother !
