Review: FW1 Racing Formula [Cleaning Product]

Product: FW1 Racing Formula

High performance cleaning wax with carnauba

Wash and Wax paint chrome rims glass and plastic

Removes tar grime bugs tree sap grease and more

Ok so i saw this when at a petrol station he did a demo on my dads car so i got a can of it

This thing is a mix of waterless wash, wax and lil bit like a claybar

It cost $30 and is in a spraypaint can it's also not available anywhere besides a phone number for ordering as it's a new product and technology

The website is Welcome to FW1 Australia

and the phone number to order is 02 8219 7900

Test Car: 94 Ford Probe GTS
Paint Colour: Performance white

Ok so the car was dirty as hell and as a real test to this product also had one side of the car with diesel soot thats been there for over a week (dads truck each morning)

This product cleans the paint and windows and puts a protective wax over it.

First of all sorry for the pics as it was done on my phone

First test

The first test was the back pannel that had grime, diesel exhaust soot and some tree sap from around 2 weeks on the car without a wash or water going neer it.

And after using the product (no pleaning was done before hand just sprayed on wiped around then buffed off by hand

It did a fantastic job and has made the car look alot whiter and the wax is doing a great job it looks so shiny compared to the other things ive tried

Ok Test 2

How well it cleans the windows

Ok the window has been wiped with the product and rubbed in

And now it's hand buffed

Now another test for the windows streaks/fingerprints

Pressing my thumb on the window hard

and i also ran my fingers along it

And no marks where left

Up close on the fender once cleaned with the product

And the whole side of the car done

And the windshield done mmmm leather seats

Whole car done (minus roof and wheels doing that tomorrow)

And the car out for a drive

It worked fantastic and it is clearcoat safe i really dont think its any more harmful than clay baring your car.

Id clay bar the car then use this stuff until you think its time to clay bar again.

It really is some great stuff i will continue to test it and see how well the wax holds up over the coming weeks but the impressions are its a great product and it certainly can replace washing the car as it does it all in one

Hell if it can remove diesel exhaust from the car like it did its gotta be good

Ok i did the wheels today with just the product and alot of brakedust

The dirty wheels (Can't see that well)

Up close dirty

Up close clean

up close dirty

up close clean

Full wheel clean

Also cause this is a wax too brakedust doesn't stick to the wheel that well so it will keep it cleaner (i'll be doing a test for the week one washed other with this product)

Id say 2 to 3 cars depending on how u apply it and how dirty it is

Also depends if u do it on the windows and rims

Right now i've done the probe and all windows and wheels and have done the monaro with all the chrome bumpers and windows and it feels like the cans just below half so you will get min 2 uses out of it but cause of the wax in theory you just have to wipe the car down with some water and a cloth to make it look clean again thats what i was told when i purchased it.

I've also updated the first post with the phone number/websiote for it to order if you want or you can keep an eye on my progress

I'll bring a can and the cloths down to the dyno day and show u

I'm a big fan of Meguires products its what i normally use

Only thing i can say is that the shine i get from this is better than the one i got from meguires but its of the same quality just in 1 package

thats about the only way i can compare is how they both looked after i had used them both

This product does seem to make me car looks alot whiter and smoother than it's ever been id say if u can spare $30 go try it

Zorbs id think this might help u with that ud probably just need a wet rag on the weekend to keep the shine up

Gotf2tinGD where about to go to level 4 restrictions they already made it harder making the only time u can water early where alot of people can't do it we can't even use high pressure sprays you can only go to a commercial do it yourself wash unless ur got grey water and now that level 4 is coming in i have no idea how much more worse its gonna get

It's why i've been looking at these waterless products cause of the restrictions
