I must say that the way this site is fragmented would make it hard for people around the world to do a bulk buy....

Isnt there and easier way to have the one post viewed buy everyone?

I would probably post in the 1G other performance section....this is where everyone from all round the world looks, but this site probably has more US based members than from any other country....

The last thread was in both the Aus section and the general 1G section.
Maybe just post a pointer to the Aus thread.

When you say pointer do you mean post a note to look at this forum subject?

I said it in the last thread.

It's won't happen. Most owners don't have the income. People who take on Datto 1600's usually have more passion.

Mx-6's of all types are not high on the list.

I said it before it's not really worth it to anyone ans the last original creation cost people money on both sides.

IMO you should not go ahead with it - unless you get 10 definates that put in a materials cost deposit.

IMO - if your looking to make money - do it for a car with bigger interest and support.
You'd get more from hyundai excel owners.

I'd say give it a deadline and then decdie and MOVE ON. Waiting and hoping is not worth your time.

Are you serious about the Hyundai people having more interest?

how do I put this

There is how many - off the shelf Kits for Mazda Mx-6's - both models

I can got To. the following sydney workshops

Tony Riggioli - turbo kit

Croydon Autoports - Turbo or Supercharger

C&V performance turbo - supercharger.

any one of them have built up several Excels or other hyundais and then there are the Customer cars I know of.

Personally think they suck but it's fact.

For mx-6 here in australia yes for 2nd gen you can get a body kit, but you name one pacific major upgrade part for a Mx-6 - Extractors - Not off the shelf - yeah e-bay but that's a very very very small %.

But for say 1st generation - oh turbo - manifold - gee nothing fits because it's all custom.
If you own a 200sX - you bolt on just about anything and get 90% of it a Autobarn or Repco or any performance shop even a V8 heaven like American autos/rare spares.

I know some owners will come back and say that's what's great about it it's special
But your wrong and you right.
It is special
but it equal hi cost - lack of numbers and low profits. That's the business side of things.
One has to look at all aspects, The main issue that hurts is the hi cost. The maority of owners don't own them because they are good platform to modfy but because it's cheap.
For me it's love, I've had mine for almost 10 years. I would of had my wagon for 15 by now if it was not written off.

It's just my opinion that if your looking at doing something ot make some sort of profit and not just break even. As I know the work involved I'm Machinest by trade as well and I would not want to be sweating over any mill or lathe on the weekend for others without profit. Let alone a CNC machine, pain in the arse they can be.

I know alot would be hating my guts for posting this but, I don't see them putting up cash right up front in complete form.

again - I agree with rod

unfortunatly the mx6 community is generally here because its a 'cheap car' not because they want to sink unlimited $$ into it

most people on here don't buy brand name gear i.e. turbomart - they'll buy the ebay knock off rather than support a local and spend a few dollars more

sorry people - its the truth - there are die hards on here, several spring to mind, but generally they all have atleast one torsen already

I for one would be a serious inquirer to this product. I have spent some good coin for my set up and understand the concept of custom. And I will spend the extra $ to get product X.

I think that it would be to your interest to cater to us serious guys with the high price tag so that:

1. weed out the dreamers
2. You make a profit
3. We get our end product
and
4. You don't waste much of your "personal" life doing this for us.

Even if you end up making just one. At least you'll pocket and I'll be happy.

I just need a bit more background info, that's all.
