Yeah nice setup.
I always thought a 600 wide IC meant to much pipework but that still looks quite direct. Not like DRAGGONE's old setup with the piping going under and around the headlights. |

Nice [fizzle]in work Scotty!
The only thing you have to worry bout now is that plastic cap on the AFM popping up causing an air leak. LOL. Are you gonna leave it or get some heavy duty silicone? I was thinking of cutting out a peice of steel or something and screwing it on somehow... And are you gonna run a BOV eventually? |

Not too worried about the AFM lid popping off. I've run the black car like this for a long time with no issues. It will be going for it's first run on the dyno on saturday. first run to get an idea of how it's running etc. It is running very rich as the damn thing has trouble starting and is starting to foul plugs. I'm still managing to get 400km to 45ish ltrs though.
I will be running some sort of BOV or bypass valve eventually, dunno which one as yet. |

Well guys, I was down at a dyno day today and the Supah wagon sure did surprise a few people! The old girl rattled off 170kw atw! The first run was 167kw atw. I almost fell over in disbelief! All the runs were done in 4th gear.
![]() ![]() Also this last tank of fuel, I've managed 435km's out of 46ltrs. Damn good. Last edited by SABBAi : 7-6-08 at 2:18. |

Yeah nice work...
That setup of yours seems to be pretty well proven for the power output your getting. I think you said you were getting 182 atw on the Tx5...to be getting 170 is pretty good. its less than 10% difference, probably within the variation of dynos. Its interesting that the mods replicate so well across cars. And yeah i'd be interested to know a bit more detail about the boost and fuelling detail.. |

The only difference essentially, is the turbo used. The setup in the black car was a stock series 2 RB25 turbo. Running 13psi. This one is a Stock T25G off an SR20. Funnily enough, I don't really know what boost it's running....All I did was throw it together with the boost controller just taking up the load of the spring. So my guess is that it was running about the same boost, if not a little more than the R33 unit. I'll throw a gauge in the car today and check it out for you. Just a pic of the engine bay before the dyno run. ![]() Last edited by SABBAi : 7-6-08 at 20:42. |

OK, I give up where have you hidden your air filter?
And yes very nice numbers I suppose that that proves again that the stock injectors are good for 250hp just as Woo says. I forget who I was debating that with on the 1G forum but then again they dont have the Woo's mod chip at their disposal. |
