Best thing to do is to go ring around old ford wreckers/ classic cars workshops and ask if they seen/heard about a XT wagon with bits and peices being sold. Then notify them it's stolen. Tell them if they hear anything, to inform the police.
No way in hell would it be on the street. That's like driving around in a car that has stickers saying "THIS CAR IS STOLEN"

never heard of insurance??

time and time again, people modify cars and don't insure them.

this care looks fantastic, and i bet it's his pride and joy.

but it's still partly his fault for not insuring it.

only one thing to say... insurance. it exists for a reason.
hell it could have been insured with shannons for like $100 a year.

That's bloody awful. Any word yet?

Gawd car thieves are the lowest form of organic life.... Sort of feel here in Fitzroy North we're at the epicentre of car-oriented thievery. My neighbour's car alarm goes off at least once a week (sensors triggered when a would-be car thief tries his luck with the door handles), and I was awoken an hour ago by another neighbour's alarm. His work van, parked right outside his house, was broken into, but the blaring alarm didn't stop the bastards from helping themselves to quite a few tools, and taking off in a car.

Had to move my car outside my house at 2.30am. It's difficult not to feel a little besieged!

My MX6 experience is more a rolling restoration than everyday transport...
