Hey everyone. Im in Paso Robles California. Its about 40 minutes north of San Luis Obispo half way between SanFran and LA. Just got a 6 and want to know if anyone is close to me? Any future meets in my area?
Yes, There are a lot of roads here that the cops dont dare patrol. I am on a large piece of land here in the vinyards. I was thinking that if I cant find any good meets in the area, I might be interested in setting up an informal meet. I work at a hotel and can get very cheap room rates and have plenty of space on my land for cars. Would any one be interested in an informal meet here in cali around the middle of November? (Gets a little chilly but no snow. ) Would love to see a bunch of mx6's parked out side my house to get some ideas for my new project. Also would love to talk to others that own the car to get some one on one insight? what you all think ?
jewels, there are two mx6 in morro bay same color as mine, gold. one is an older lady, shes fun, we wave everytime we see each other, the other is a younger chic who doesnt even know what she has. what kind of shape your car in? I just got mine and its rough, but in time ill give it the love it needs. You had yours long? The only other six i seen lately is a red one thats body is comparable to mine, a younger chic drove it.
yea, i usually see a blue one in mb, with an older lady driving it. there's a red one in los osos, and also a hunter green with that's just beat up.
had mine since 2006, bought it from mccarthy's, i paid too much, but it had 56k miles on it and it was pretty much new. previous owner was an old calpoly professor.
Clean car for sure! I wish mine looked that nice, but i have plans for it, so soon it will look like new. I cant post pics yet im still a new member, but mine has 120k on it, its a 5spd and its body is really rough, got it for a grand. I love your rims! what are they? You got a 4 or 6 cyl? I have an I4 and I just went through my 3rd tank of gas, im averaging 37mpg! I love that! You have to find any parts for your car yet? Im wondering what the junk yards are going to be like trying to find this car? You know anyone else close thats on here?
its a six cyl....you can see from the picture..............the rims are too big.....to see real results you need something no bigger than 16s lol those look more for show than performance!!!

the rims are 17s, and i think they look fine. they're motegi, i forgot what kind, but they're a pain in the ass to clean.
i've been looking for some cheap fd's for a while now, but all i see are expensive stuff.
does anyone know of any local car clubs, even if there not exclusive to mx6 owners. I cant believe that being this close to cal poly that there isnt something for car enthusiasts to gather and discuss there cars, I have such a big project on my hands and may have bitten off more than i can chew if i have to do it all alone.
hey how far are you guys from the Naval Air station. i got a 93 2.0 that's barely running right now i need a new water pump and the stock air box cuz i can't get it smogged anyways hit ,e up i'm down to do a little road trip
