Tomorrow, I'm gonna go get my alignment done, order my exhaust manifold gasket, and go see about some stickers for us. How many people want one before I go drop the rest of my paycheck? Will be white with the SD6 logo on our homepage

hey i fixed my car! i got rid of the pinging.. apparently, my distributor has been bad all along. it has been leaking oil and had some play on the shaft for bout a year now. well today, i was at the shop who rebuilt my motor to pick up some turbo parts i got sandblasted. anyway, while i was there and had access to a timing light, i decided to swap the distis with one i pulled from the yard a few weeks ago.. well DOH!! all along, my disti was bad! apparently, it was no longer advancing the timing like it's supposed to so it was always running retarded... WOW is all i can say now with a good working disti oh and the HKS iridium plugs marlon lent me KICKS ARSE!! wanna sell them to me? for cheap anyway, i was at 9BTDC on the old, bad disti and getting ping at 15psi on 91 pumpgas... now i'm at 10BTDC, same boost, NO PING! and it pulls like mad can't wait to dyno again

I'm so glad....I thought it was because of the MSD 6A..but I also thought about your timing and dist.....glad to hear that it pulls insanely fast instead of the just REGULAR insane fast

BTW..how much did it cost to get those items sandblasted?
