not likely, but there is a hitch kit made by 2 companies for the 2gen mx6. You are limited on how much you can tow tho. They cost arround 300 + install new. I looked in to them for my utility trailer until i lowered my car and modified it to hell.

You just need to make sure you get the right one. Cuz i dont think a probe one or a 626 kit all work on a MX6.

Look up Hidden hitch and Draw Tite.

I found mine on either kijiji or craigslist for $50. Not sure about the weight restriction though, I know I was towing about 1800lbs (including weight of trailer) for 90kms two weekends ago. And my car is lowered...and has 18's on it.

Mazda Mx6 4 cylinder 94" - Toronto Mazda Cars For Sale - Kijiji Toronto

That's the best I could come up with. Maybe the guy will sell it separately.

sure i can still tow while lowered but the ugly hitch on the rear wouldn't go well with the car style. I have another vehicle i can use to tow when i need to. Not to mention the part that goes under the muffler tip which restricts after market mufflers you can install.

Mine has the removeable tongue, until I point out that I have a hitch no one notices (the benefits to being lowered). And srider, if you find a hidden hitch, remove the bright white sticker that says 'hidden hitch', quite frankly it defeats the purpose.

Admittedly I had to change my muffler to mount the hitch.
