WTB: kl47 IM VRIS Vacuum box

I need the vacuum boxes for the VRIS activation. They are located on the top of the manifold on the passenger side.

This is on the CURVE NECK kl47 millenia IM

you can rig up something with a KLDE or ZE straight neck box + a 1 way valve. remote mount it on the firewall

I dont have either manifolds. But I have a k8 mani... I dont need it asap though so I will keep the post up.

Good luck finding just the vacuum chamber for that manifold. I needed one about 2 years ago and ended up having to go to Mazda for it, ~$30 iirc. Try mazdaworld.org, that'll be the best place to find a used one. Post in the Millenia section, no one there ever checks the classifieds section(s).

If you want OEM then yea however you can relocate it using any old vacuum chamber from the wrecker IE: 86-88 toyota cressida has a round 5 inch tall chamber that would be ideal. Just mount it anywhere and use the mazda 1 way back flow valve on the line feeding the chamber vacuum.

so you have a curved neck ZE IM?

might be the same as the straight neck ZE, but no one will want to part with them... maybe Soggy on BCPOC with his cracked ZE IM

Okay, lets get more specific here. Do you need the VRIS solenoids and the brackets that they mount to, or do you need the diaphrams that open/close the butterfly plates in the manifold? Either way I don't have any spare ones, but if it's just the diaphrams that you need then your search just got a whole lot harder and more expensive.

No, I need the metal bracket and the two plastic actuators they have plugs from the wiring harness plug into them. (not the butterflies on the back of the IM). Here is a pic, if you look on the top left of my old motor you will see what I need (beside the yellow cap)

Well if that is the case i am sure someone will have a ZE or DE or MX3 IM they can scrounge the vacuum solenoids from.

Do you also 100% need the metal bracket? cuz the solenoids are removable from that bracket and you could attach replacements to your bracket. If you dont have a bracket just use whatever one you can get and make it work some how.

The VRIS solenoids are all the same so you just need 2

I am quite aware that I can swap over the VRIS solenoids. I am looking for the metal bracket more or less. I can steal the VRIS solenoids from my k8 manifold.. but I would rather buy a complete set.
