Where to get the tires from DTD mounted and balanced...

I've bought at least 2 (possibly 3) sets of tires from DTD in the past. Great service and quick shipment/delivery.

My issue has always been to find inexpensive places to mount and balance the tires on my existing rims. Best case scenario, I find somewhere to do it for about $15 each and that's with me bringing the rims into the shop already off a car.

I recently purchased a tire changing setup so I can strip junk tires off rims I don't want to throw away. This being said, I expect I can just as easily install new tires with some bead glue (whatever it's officially called) with my 60 gallon air compressor.

So ultimately, my question is this.
1. Do you know of any chains which will balance rims/tires which are already mated for a reasonable (<$10) price?
2. How about mounting and balancing outside purchased tires as well as balancing?

When you have to pay $15 for balancing and you paid lets say $250 for tires already, that's a pretty significant jump in cost and you don't even get a "free alignment" like at TFT.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you very much for your continued support Fastest95PGT. We are currently working hard on our installers program. Here's a link you can use to see our current installers in your area (if applicable). Just enter in your zip code, phone number, or city.
Installer Search
I'm not sure as to what the prices are like since I don't know where you are located. If you know of a local installer that you feel we should add to our list, please send us the information. One thing to consider, even though our prices do not include installation, you will still get a better price purchasing through us. Most tire shops will charge you more for the tires and also tac on an installation charge.

My zip is about 01604.

I understand your argument about DTD's prices more than making up the difference. Your installer list has primarily higher than $15/tire which I had already mentioned.

Are there any suggestions you can make to the DIY installer for balancing? As I said previously, I can physically install my own tires (I'm pretty sure any way), just can't balance them.

In order to balance your tires, you will need to have a tire balancing machine. I really can't offer to much information for the DIY installer as we have many guidelines that we follow for safety reasons. We recommend all assemblies be installed by a certified technician.
