Let me know how you fare with them... I'll need to get some tinting done on Sparky too, since there's a corner missing on the drivers side window for some reason.
...plan has changed! Took a shortcut, and bought msequence's beast; now my old girl is being parted, and I get to work on fixing up the new beast!
So they used Llumar tint, which apparently holds a lifetime warranty. 15% all around.
As soon as I left the guy's driveway and went to St. Laurent, I saw there was bubbling all along the dot matrix and some tiny bubbles mainly along the bottom edge of both quarter panels and all along the bottom of the rear windshield.
I went back at the next chance I had and they fixed the side panels, but they said they couldn't really do much for the rear because apparently it's dirt thats baked into the glass. They said that the older the car, the harder it is to get a perfect tint job due to dirt being baked in.
I guess you get what you pay for.

bubbling in the dot matrix is normal... they either have to scrape the matrix away or they sometimes paint over it... BUT. in a couple days i think it was four ... you take your thumb and run it over all the dot matrix and alot of the air will go away..
im not a big fan of llumar.. its really metallic which was not wat i wanted
Mine's not metallic by any means, dunno if you got to take a glance at it on Friday.
Apparently the tint isdark enough that both probe killer and Alex613 weren't able to see PaulG and I sitting in my car even while they were parked right next to us...i think this might be the one of the few times I can say "It's cuz we're brown" and it's actually true

not so much metalic. but mine lets in light and its more of just dark glass whereas your keeps out alot of light and makes the look of tint by reflection. its hard to explain in writing but you can see it in person.
just more reflection in yours. still looked good. i just didnt want that kind because it makes it look darker then it is and attracts cops a lil more.
i spent a lot of time looking into it when i got mine done. i wanted something dark from the inside, but could really care how dark from the outside. i rly wanted the light to get filtered.. you can kind of think of it like iridium sunglasses.
