Not only is it a meet, but it's at OCC and Paul Jr has a meet the next day too! I'm thinking of heading down with the family, the Woodbury outlets are only a half hour away from here too, so the wife'll be happy about that!

Yea i may be up for that Paul. Hopefully the good six will be ready and on the road by then... let me know whne you know for sure; it would be a lot cooler driving down with a fellow 6'er then just meeting everyone there..
I'll probably decide on the weekend. My car is in pretty good shape to make the trip, just replaced the front wheel bearings in the last couple of months, I'll lower it back down in April and throw on the summer wheels and I should be good to go!
Between dealing with our dogs, needing to work on trimming out the car (I've done practically nothing on it in the last year), and not having enough miles on it to properly trust it for that long a trip; I think I'll be skipping it... have fun!
...plan has changed! Took a shortcut, and bought msequence's beast; now my old girl is being parted, and I get to work on fixing up the new beast!
I need a 97(/96?) one...make sure you register if you're up for it. I did, I'm #100 on the list. Haven't booked a hotel room yet though, we're planning on going down on the Friday night and coming back Sunday and probably booking at the Marriott.

oh right.. ya mine is a 93/94 disty.. so that wont help.. I should get on registering though, and i gotta book the friday before off of work.. are you down for driving down there together? and have you priced out rooms at the Marriott yet? Cheers Paul
Yeah, I'm okay for driving down together. We're planning to leave in the afternoon, maybe 2-ish and get there for 8 or 9pm. I have 2 kids aged 2 and 4 so we'll probably have to take a couple of breaks.
Registration is $5, but not up front. I guess you just pay when you get there. Rooms at the Marriott are a bit pricy, about $150 a night, if you're alone, you might want to see if Chef has any more space available at the hotel he's staying at. He was looking for someone to share a room with on the Mazda 3 forums to save some money.

okay sounds good, and i dont mind making a few stops for the young ones dude, thats cool. and ya thanks for the tip, i may just try and get a hold of Chef and see if he's down... Cheers!
Yeah, I went down with the family in the car...I took a spare disty with me just in case but thankfully didn't need to use it. mx6mazdaspeed69 didn't end up going down. I saw another mx6 there, user fear18505 on this site. It was pretty nice, we got to walk around in the shop and see the current stuff they're working on, and also saw the ORNGE bike involved in the provincial government scandal that's going on now.
I guess it's the $100k bike with the sidecar that we saw. They say it's in storage at OCC, but it's actually the only bike in the showroom that's not roped off, it just has a sign on it to not touch it, lol.
Edit: It's kind of funny though, we only stayed there a couple of hours, then went to lunch at Olive Garden (my wife's misses this restaurant since they left Canada), then went shopping for the rest of the day at the outlet mall. The meet was an excuse for a shopping trip, I guess, lol.
