My 97 LS Transformation

Oct 2003:
Purchased for $9500 incl taxes, emission tested and safetied with 100K on the car and 120K on the motor.

Wired for sound.



Apr 2004:
Windows tinted.

July 2004:
Magnaflow muffler (straight-through) and Ractive oval tip.

JL speakers, JL amp, Alpine HU and Eclipse EQ.





Aug 2004:
Car was rear-ended and repaired. Whole car resprayed.

Apr 2005:
2-way Python Alarm installed.

Jul 2005:
Lowered on Ground Controls/Illuminas.

Rims installed: Konig Unknowns.



May 2006:
RR-Racing STS and shift boot.

Aug 2006:
Braided clutch line from MBX.

Mar 2007:
Rust around windshield repaired.







Apr 2007:
Exedy OEM Clutch installed.

Apr 2008:
Traction bars (still to be installed).

June 2008:
Tranny saver bracket (doesn't fit well with stock flex pipe so not installed).

Mazdaspeed pedal covers.

July 2008:
VCGs and intake gaskets

Aug 2008:
Timing belt and water pump.

Sep 2008:
Control arms, wheel bearings, stabilizer links, tie rods.

Hey Oddball, I was searching for other people's setups for their oil pressure gauges, and came across an old thread of yours: http://www.mx6.com/forums/uk-lounge/...y-chappie.html (Not a happy chappie.) .

So did you use the sandwich adapter, or the method you mentioned in that thread there? Also, were you able to get the allen head bolt out of the block for your oil temp?

Thats what i used the sandwich plate for buddy, the oil temp and pressure sender units.

I took one look at my allen bolt in the block, decided i would have one go at it, it pretty much put 2 fingers up at me and said, you aint got a chance .

I'm sure if the block was out of the car and i could work on it and repair if nessesary, would have done so, but as it was'nt, i was not prepared to take the chance.

In North America it's just the middle finger, but I got the analogy.

fixed all my pics.. looked horrible on the first page with all no images...

Neat to see my thread got stickied.

I may not be perfect, but I'm Canadian and thats close enough!!!!!!!!
