I am afraid, I will not be able to attend this time.

My recent move from germany to the south of france makes it almost impossible for me to be there (12Hrs Drive). Plus my 2 626s are down .

I am actually driving to germany next week end to pick some things up, but the difference is that that week end is a 4 days week end.

So I hope u guys will enjoy your time there.

Peace

Hey Guyz!

I would be very interested in going to the meet. Its a long drive, but the Autobahn should be fun
Anyone have info on places to stay? Also, I looked at the webpage, but didn't find any info on entry fees, do u have anything on that subject?

Nürburgring Prices and Accomodation

Hey Man

Here is a price list...

http://www.nuerburgring.de/fileadmin...ionen_2007.pdf

I hope your german is OK ...

This list is not up to date as it is for the 2007 season.

I was at the ring a month ago and I believe the price for a single lap is 21 Euros and not 19 like it says on this document.

We usually stay in Guesthouses there. It is rather cheap and comfortable (Around 30 Euros per person per night). It also allows us to stay together the whole time.

Last year we actually started repairing our cars in the parking lot of the guesthouse ... PRICELESS

If you need more info I suggest you contact Dutch, you should see him in this thread.

Peace
NSXR

I might be coming this year, but the wagon isn't The poor old motor is too weary to last a lap around the ring, let alone the trip across germany, and the new engine won't be ready until much much later.

Heard about the ban on cameras on cars... shame. Stealth cameras are bothersome to install.

626 '88 Wagon, turbo 2.0 DOHC

The camera thing is not a big problem. If you really want a video of your ride, hide the cam between the codrivers legs and start the vid after the entrance. But you should be cool enough to drive carefully even if you want to show your friends at home how fast you could drive.

Most of us are sleeping in Gasthaus Weber.

A Room for two is 70 Euros, so 35 Euros for each person.

Bye,
Daniel
