This sucks bigtime. It's not realistically possible for me to get to germany and back within friday afternoon and sunday night, and I really can't be out of the office either; believe me, I can't. You could probably guess where I would want to be more; at the office, or at the Ring. Unfortunately it's not really my call

Is anyone of us not at the weber hotel?

Maybe it would be good, if we could change some phone numbers to meet each other. -> Private message me...

Hi,

yep, we've seen you three times there.

I lost oil and sliped over my own oil. first 180° to the right, then 180° back, then sideways over the left curb and then into the wall.

Today i've taken my car back home:

Dorifto

Bye,
Daniel

Hi Everyone!!

I had an awesome time! This was possible only due to the generosity of the people I went with!

Many MANY of my most sincere thanks to the following :

Dutch : Giving me somewhere to sleep on Friday and Sunday night, taking me around Nederland in various automotive wonders :-) I went for a ride in his 818/808, Wezel's red FD, the red GV, the blue GD with him at the wheel :-)

Ed/Mikis : Taking me around th' 'ring in the race prepped GD and eventually letting me drive it round th' 'ring twice.

CaseJunkie : Offering to bring me home from Deutschland after Dutch and Wezel piked on us on the sunday. Also, actually taking me back to Dutch's place after saying he would :-)

Wezel : Letting Dutch drive me around in the FD : Awesome car, confirmed on my shopping list ;-)

Marc(k?) : Being the crazy mofo that he is and keeping us all entertained.

Anyone/everyone else I've forgotten!

On the monday Dutch took me to meet bakmans and look around their workshop. I had a long chat to the owner/operator of the place and can 100% give you the Fred seal of approval on his work/ability/knowledge. Smart capable guy! Thanks to him for the chat, most enjoyable!

I'll do a write up at some stage and post any pics not lost on my damaged memory card :

I'll link it here when I do :-)

Thanks again to all involved, AWESOME weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fred.

I don't suppose you know exactly what time those pics were taken at do you?

They *may* (20% chance) have been me

Daniel, looks like you got off very lightly! I was expecting to see front left corner damage from your position as we went past.

Fred.

It was quite hard. I think most of the forces went to the wheels / suspension. Yesterday i rolled 30 meters downhill and steered a bit. At least some wheel bearings gone bad. I hope not much more.

I have a video of it. I will post it in the next few days.

So, are you new to youtube, or did you create a new account because you think they will remove the video/account? Did you compress that video pre posting it up? Or did youtube compress it that much? Or was it that bad to start with?

I may or may not have some lap videos myself, but I may or may not have hidden the camera past all the speccy points so the footage is fairly average...

Fred.

The quality of the source is okay. It's a mini dv cam. The file i've uploaded is quite good, too. I don't know why it is that bad.

And yes, i am "new" to youtube.
