I bought this car a year and a half ago as a fixer upper, but since then have been granted charge of my elderly grandmother. As much as I love my fun zoom zoom, it is NOT great for toting granny. It drives me everyday, however, it does need a few key issues addressed immediately. When I say key, I mean key. The only key that came with it was a cracked copy and the only locksmith in town that will mess with it cuts me copies that only work in the ignition. I have not had the time or motivation to see how much it will cost to re-key the whole car, but that is the most pressing issue it has. It needs a few squealy belts and leaky gaskets replaced, but most of the other work would be cosmetic (broken ashtray, missing fuse door, passenger seat has broken track that locks half the time and slides freely the other half.) I would like at least $1,200 for it. I have put 70,000 miles on it driving back and forth Montana and Colorado, but at 140,600 it still has a great life left.

I'm not allowed to post pics yet so reply for pic info-it's maroon.

left front wheel when I get to 75 - 80 mph range. Before that speed, no noise or vibration at all.

Can the the dust shield cause a vibration like this ?

The dust shield just seems to hang their by pressure, meaning their is nothing holding it in place. When I take the tire off, I can easily move it to the outside, and then push it back in place.

Is there anything to use to adhere it into place ? Maybe even glue it ?

OK, so I bought a Golf mk7 and traded in my '93 626 GE, it's mechanically identical to a V6 MX6, and the Ford Probe of the same year, for those not in the know.
I have a bunch of things in my shed that I either never got around to fitting, or never ended up needing. So here they are, all prices negotiable and do not include postage/shipping. I will find that out upon expressions of interest. PM me to enquire, I will update sold items on this thread and answer general questions regarding the items.

Validation:

let's start with a set of KLZE heads (yes, genuine), including all valve train components installed and ready to go except for the camshafts themselves.
I bought these off Turk in Sydney but didn't end up doing anything with them.
Includes new head gaskets, two camshaft seals and a set of stock exhaust gaskets, used but in good nick. $200

Tow bar with plug, i'm pretty sure this is 626 GE specific. No idea if it fits MX6 or not. $40

Rear Door Seals $20:

Set of 6 spare ignition leads. used, working. Might come in handy for diagnosing ignition issues without spending $160+ on new leads. $20

Valve stem seals x24. Brand new, sealed. Enough for one head intake and exhaust OR, if you plan to upgrade the intake springs on both heads this will have the intake side seals of both heads sorted. $30

Distributor Cap modified for HEI + ext coil. Includes rotor. $20
(Thread the nib from a spark plug onto the bolt, this will fit a standard coil lead perfectly)

Short throw shifter $30

Throttle Position sensor. Used but works perfectly: $20

KL02 VAF $40. Tested recently, works perfectly

AND.......
Mazda 6 Big Brake Kit!!!

Got this from Turk too but again, didn't end up using it though :(
Includes front and rear calipers, painted with proper caliper paint, fitted with pads with some meat still on them. Includes slotted REAR discs only (will need grinding, they've got quite a bit of surface rust from not being used)
ALSO, includes the custom handbrake cables to make the rear calipers work like they should, this is the expensive part.
Front calipers have braided stainless steel lines fitted for improved performance
Use this kit with Mazda 6 front rotors.
$200

I have some heim-joint traction arms bought from ausloki which i will post pictures of soon. Will be asking for $150 for those.

Finally got around to making this thread. Ive Been hanging on to a lot of stuff as i wasnt sure where i was going with my project. Long story short, the car is in pieces, no longer my daily driver, and I now have an fe3 motor to start working on, so its time to start parting ways with the things I wont need and go bigger.

I'm looking to get $1500shipped for this (U.S. only, overseas we will discuss shipping cost) Feel free to send me a pm or email me at gtrem6@gmail.com for a faster response if you are interested.

I will seperate this setup if i can get enough buyers on the larger items.

This kit is possibly the most bolt-on/plug in setup you will ever find. i had a 3in exhaust so your only issue will be that. Bolts up to a 3in exhaust or will have to be cut and welded to your exhaust. Everything else bolts into place. Ive replaced and included mostly every gasket/hose/clamps you will need and it fits with a/c and stock intercooler piping. For ease of install, remove the wastegate assembly vbands when dropping it into the car then reattach and position wastegate so that it does not hit a/c lines and tighten down.

Only thing missing is a boost controller...you can buy your own :)

Heres the list of everything included:

TURBO:
-Stock manifold with t3 flange welded on
Egr port comes with a plug if you dont want to run egr
Treated with VHT paint

-t3/t4 hybrid turbo w/polished compressor housing.
Rebuilt by Blaast Performance when I bought it
Approx 7k miles on rebuild and is in great shape, no shaft play.
Has journel bearings
Compressor housing/wheel are Garrett, but i filed off to mirror polish.
.50cold/.63hot a/r - I mic'd specs & did math equation, says its a 40trim.
Treated with VHT paint.

-2 piece downpipe
Downpipe is comprised of 2 pieces that vband together.
1st piece bolts to turbo, has wastegate elbow and is 2.5in
2nd piece comprised of 2.5in & 3in piping. cut this to fit ur size exhaust
Treated with VHT paint.
Wrapped in DEI "Titanium" heat wrap. Looks like tan carbon fiber style
weave.

-Tial 38mm MVS External Wastegate.
7.25lb spring - on full boost the car ran 9-10psi on wastegate pressure
http://www.tialsport.com/prod_wg_mvs.htm
Polished open dumptube.

FUEL & MISC:

-460 cc rx7 injectors

-walboro 190 fuel pump for f2t

-HKS F-con Piggyback ECU that comes complete with FCD and GCC.
This Plug and Play unit is designed for immediate use in 90-92 f2t and is
ready to operate...supposedly with some simple re-wiring it will work
on an 88-89 f2t as well.

- Slimline fan to replace the stock fan completely. However stock fan can
also be used with trimming of the stock fan shroud.

See sig for mods, pics below. Really hate getting rid of it, but I've grown tired of it. It has a Kenwood KIV BT900 Headunit, Pioneer rear speakers, Infinity (I think, I can't remember for sure) front speakers. Will also throw in some gauge overlays that I haven't installed. New Timing Belt, Water Pump, Hydraulic Tensioner, Drive Belts, Belt Tensioners, Valve Cover Gaskets, PCV Valve, Plugs, Wires. I can also include stock struts as well as full factory exhaust with a good catalytic converter. Will not pass smog as it sits, needs an EGR Valve and the EGR Valve tube. After I replaced the clutch and flywheel, speedo and reverse lights no longer work. Probably both of the sensors, haven't really cared enough to find out why. Also can include the factory air cleaner assembly. Pics are a little old, but represent how the car looks now. I also have the J-Spec headlights installed with a 5000k Notto SE HID kit. They look brand new. Wheels are a little scuffed up but not horribly. Asking $2500. No lowballing please.
Edit: I should note that this was my daily driver for 2+ years and not a single issue has come up, it's VERY reliable.

Hey guys,

Been away for a while, looking to get back into a 1st Gen MX6GT or 90+ Probe GT. Looking for something semi-clean and in decent running condition i.e no project cars unless you're willing to tow to upstate NY.

I'll be back from Afghanistan around mid September, looking for something between now and then. I don't mind arranging and paying for shipping as long as you don't mind driving it to the shippers.

Previously had a 90 626 5speed, 88 MX6GT, and a 90 Probe GT.

Please e-mail me pics, description, and price to As.Tobin@gmail.com please put year and model in the title. Thanks.
