Hey just thought i'd run this by you guys quick:
I'm currently running angel eyes, car got hit a couple weeks back, cracked the one housing all up, picked up a cheap parts car with jspecs, going to swap them over (along with the engine/trans ), before i start chopping into the factory harness, can i just run the jspecs off the wiring harness for my angel eyes? i don't see why not.. just thought i'd throw up a post see if anyone had any input, or if anyone else has done this?

just so i'm not mistaken:
h1 - highbeams
h3c - low's?(whats the difference between h3's and h3c's)

I am still waiting on front adjustable endlinks from our own Mystere Motorsports and AWR 19mm rear sway bar and endlinks. Also the Jspecs are getting a 6000 HID kit. I might be doing a complete custom rear bumper as well, gonna see what happens as I go.
I am anticipating a suspension drop and paint by next spring!

Looking for a list and Pictures of stock rims that will fit the MX6. I tired reseaching but didn't come up with anything that I was looking for.

Reading up on some past threads (not helping), but I found that the Mazda Millenia rims 15's weight 11.5lbs. See if anybody has pictures of a MX6 with these rims. I think they look like Civic HX rims.

Alright here is the deal. I want to see pictures of YOUR MX6 with your wheel & tire setup and your suspension drop. Also post some info on your setup so everyone can know what you are running.

I apologize for that post. The thing is...when I posted this before I tried to link it to a website and for some reason it won't post.. Here it goes again.. i hope it works this time. I'm new here, and I know relatively little about customization of vehicles. I was wondering about body kits. I have owned a Mazda mx6 ls for about a year now and I was wanting to upgrade its looks. I have shopped around on the Internet and looked at the pic's on this website, but still can’t make up my mind. I was wondering if there are any good body/lip kits that will enhance my appearance and still enable me to survive most speed bumps. Also I was wondering how much it generally runs to install a body kit at a local shop.

I've been thinking of tryin out a hood extension on my 93 ls since its in need of nearly a whole front end anyways. I think I've seen one on here b4, but without a search tool its hard to find, so if anyone has any input, pics or ideas it would help out a lot.

hello everyone, so I just polished mt vale covers and my intake manifold on my ze, and i am just wondering if i should apply any sort of clear coat on them, or just leave them alone. What do people usually do? thanks for the help

I know this isn't pics of a mx6, but we have arm rests, so here is a write up seeing our cars suck for cup holders.

The ever famous Cup holder arm rest lid !


What you need :
- Razor blade/scissors
- Staples
- Stapler
- Heat gun or dryer
- Spray Adhesive
- 1/2 inch screws
- Material of choice (vinyl preferably)
- Foam/Rubber padding
- Cup holder liner (from GM Malibu/sunfier/cavalier/other)
- 3inch hole maker drill bit
- Screw gun

In this one, ill show you what to do if you have a crack in the lid.
And a more cheaper, easier route to go.
First the "El-cheapo" cup holder lid.

Step 1 - Start by placing the cup liners on the bottom of the lid, and tracing a circle where you want the cup to sit. Generally you want to be in the center, the one in the rear should sit right at the curve of the lid(as shown) and the one in the front should sit just before the screw hole in the center of the lid(not shown)



Step 2 - Then cut the hole you traced .




After breaking through the first liner, start the next going counter clock wise, (loosen) because of the ribs in the lid, then switch to clock wise (tighten)


Step 3 - Now you cut the edge of the ribs off because they will interfere with the cup liner. Then clean the holes of shavings .

If your doing 2 cup holders, then finish off the second hole the same way.

Step 4 - Insert the cup liners - Done

What to Do if you have a crack in the lid,
Staple it .... yes it works.


Heat up the area (DONT MELT IT !) so that the staples go in easily, and just staple away, nice and tight is best.

Now for the Baller look. Pick up from step 3.

Step 4 - place the lid down onto the pad, and trace, staying close to the very top of the lid.


Cut it out, and place it on top of the lid, see what need to be corrected, and cut accordingly .
Here is generally where you want the lid to sit, nice and flush with the very top.


Step 5 - Now you need to cut away at the edges of the pad, so that it slopes to the edge, to get a better finished look.


This is how it should look when your done, Keep in mind, and wavy lines or bumps will show through in the final result.


Step 6 - Spray the lid with the adhesive spray, and lay the pad down on top, so that it sits flush all around the lid.


Like so :


Step 7 - Cut the pad out of the circle from the bottom.


Step 8 - lay the padded lid onto the vinyl, fold one side in and staple, the the opposite side, the the other side, and its opposing side. ( (careful not to go all the way through) )


Now work your way around, heating the material, and stapling as needed.
Notice this take patients .


Again, heat is the key to getting this to stretch into the lid flat.

I like to get the corners first to get them out of the way .


After the corners, the sides are much easier to stretch in.


Just keep working your way around until you get it all like this.

I have mx6 93. and i want to put 19" rims.

Does anyone know where I could find the plugs that fit into the vent cowl? I've searched the forums but can't seem to find an answer. Would a dealership have them in stock or maybe some place online I could look? '95 MX-6 with 200K still runs like a scalded dog!!
