About to close on a house with garage next week, wife and I are looking forward to finally fixing up our old 1996 m-edition v6/auto.

we would like to convert to ZE/manual.

I spent the last two weeks looking through mx6.com and probetalk trying figure out if it was possible to legally comply with Virginia's emissions standards for a 1996 OBD II system after making this swap. I really didn't find any answers.

Anyone out there have a 1996 or younger mx6, live part of virginia with stricter emissions standards, done this swap and passed emissions?
