I'm in that position where I don't really need a personal car anymore and loosing the debt would be great really.

I've had this vehicle since September 2008, but it has been family owned since new. The original owner is my girlfriends Dad who used it for 2 years for commuting, after that it was stored and driven no more then a few thousand kilometers a year. It was never winter driven until last year, but has been Krown rust proofed since new. NO RUST ANYWHERE!

This car is an original GFX model which means it came factory equipped with the HFP skirts and a tacky interior trim which was removed. I took this one step further and have since equipped it with the HFP suspension and 16" HFP wheels. This is a complete HFP model now!

Here's the modifications list:

*Engine/Transmission:*
- Stock K20A3 Engine and Transmission (124,000kms)
- ’03 Acura RSX Type-S AEM V2 Short Ram Intake (powdercoated black)
- Motul Motylgear 10W40 Transmission Fluid
- AEM Aluminum Spark Plug Cover
- K-Tuned Black Fuel Rail

*Suspension/Wheels:*
- Honda Factory Performance Suspension Kit (By Showa)
- Honda Factory Performance 16x6.5’ Wheels (By Enkei)
- Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position 205/50ZR16 Tires
- Stock 15" Alloys (Winter)
- Gizlaved NordFrost5 195/60R15 Winter Tires
- ’06 Acura RSX Type-S 21mm Rear Sway Bar
- Eibach SPC Pro-Alignment Kit (Front)

*Brakes:*
- Honda OEM Blank Rotors
- Hawk HPS Front & Rear Pads
- ATE Super Blue/Type 200 Clutch & Brake Fluid

*Exterior:*
- Honda Factory Performance GFX Kit

*Interior:*
- Custom "Civic SiR" Floor Mats
- Razo RA42 Shift Knob
- WeatherTech FloorLiner Floor Mats
- Original OEM Mats

*Yes, 3 sets of floor mats!

*Lighting:*
- PIAA 4300K Headlight Bulbs

It drives great and averages between 30-34mpg on every tank. Only Castrol Syntec synthetic oil ever used with the odd but of Lucas every few changes just to help longevity.

The snow tires were brand new and have 1 season on them. The summer tires are cooked, but we can talk about that if interested at asking price.

The vehicle was completely wet sanded and polished (professionally) in April 2009 and the finish glows better then ever. Everything works perfect and all maintenance has been performed at Honda.

If interested or you have any questions, please PM me. Looking to get $13,000 certified and etested with everything listed above.

*Why am I selling these items?*
I purchased a new toy in the spring, a 350Z so the MX6 has been demoted to a winter beater. I have some extra parts kicking around. The oil catch can is currently installed on my car (removing it tomorrow) here in Barrie. The other two items have been stored at my parents house for the past year and are still there. You are more than welcome to pick the parts up from my parents house, they would love to see them leave. The splitter I can bring back to Barrie, the wheels unfortunately I'm not sure I'll be able to transport. I am only willing to ship the oil catch can assembly.

*Item #1*
APR carbon fiber front splitter
*Item Location:*
Owen Sound, ON (parent's house)
*Price:*
$150
*Description:*
An APR splitter custom trimmed/drilled to fit an MX6. Purchased from Msequence a couple years back. Overall the splitter is physically in good shape, no cracks or anything. Cosmetically the clear coat has lots of light scratches but from eye level you can't notice it. The splitter has to sets of holes drilled, MSequence had holes dripped to mount it to his aftermarket lip. I drilled a new set of holes to mount to the OEM front bumper and coverered the other holes with small round carbon fiber sticker which blend in really well.

*Item #2*
DIY oil catch can
*Item Location:*
Barrie, ON
*Price:*
$40
*Description:*
Your typical home made oil catch can made with parts from HomeDepot, additionally I have added a quick release dump valve on the bottom of the resevoir so you can easily pour the old oil into a left-over oil jug with no funnel or mess. The only thing I suggest is that you remove the fuel hose that the do-it-yourselfer suggested and find something with some structure as the fuel hose isn't meant to contain negative pressure so it collapses under vacuum.

Fronts - Hercules something = less than 5000km of use, great performing tire.
Rears - Yokohama Avid V4's = unkown km, worn but still fully functional as a summer tire.

93 MX6 Part Out

At long last, I'm ready to get rid of the black MX6. Ironically, my part out has being going terrifically without a thread so far, but its almost winter, and I don't feel like blowing snow around the old car, so I'm gonna get it towed in two weeks.

Just wanted to put up a warning and last chance for people to inquire and make an offer for parts. I'm very reasonable. Its been partly scavenged, but there's lots remaining yet too.

- I've got two KLDE engines from which to scavenge parts. Many sensors, etc.
- Some internal panels remain, inquire for specifics.
- Only external panel remaining is the hood.

As I said, inquire, make offers, I'm losing it in two weeks either way, so can't hurt.

In addition, I've got a set of stock rims with brand new Kumho Ecsta ASX tires. And I mean brand new, less than 5000 KM on them since I got them, sadly. Really annoying timing, let me tell you. So my loss, your gain.

I've researched them to cost $66 USD on TireRack, or else $125 CAD on 1010Tires. I'd settle for $320 for the set. That's $80 a corner, mounted, balanced, and still in near-new shape. I'm not terribly flexible on this, since I *could* skip putting tires on my new rims and just bloody use them, as the wife would prefer. But if I can sell them about this price, then I can justify it.

BShark: Think you'll be coming to get your bumper soon? If not, I'll remove it and put it in the shed, but then it might be buried for the winter.

PaulG: I will save an IAC for you, any ideas when you'd like to get it?

1993 MX-6 Mystere RS for sale

Here's a rare one.... One owner MX-6 RS 5 spd. I hate to sell it but it must go. (My race Motorcycle needs a motor job, and baby on the way) I was there on original delivery, original ownership was my mom's, but has been under my name since I was 17 in 94. This car has always been my baby. The Last winter it saw was 1995. Only 3 people have ever driven this car, My uncle (test drive), My mom (500km in 1993), and myself all the rest. This was my first car.

It has always been maintained at a Mazda Dealership for every service. in fact only 4 mechanics have set hands on this car. I always asked for specific mechanics.

Last time it was in for an oil change at Mazda they took a once over the whole car, and said it was the best Cosmetic and Mechanically strong MX-6 they had seen for the previous 3-5 years. Probably because of not seeing any salty roads since 95. Always garage stored, and waxed semi annually most of it's life. Hasn't been a summer daily driver since 2006.

Never been on a road course, but did do 12 passes at TMP drag strip on 1 time trial day in 2001 (beating a V6 MX-6 with KLZE Cams in one of the passes)

List of mods: (As is, and was in the pic)
-Eibach springs (lower by 1.5")
-Tokico Illumina shocks (5 way adjustable) -still have original springs and shocks
-Niche twister 16" rims w/ 225/45/16 ZR rubber (tires less than 1000km on them)
-Mazda Factory 14" rims with Pirelli winter tires (10 000km use in 95 - stored in my garage or basement on blocks since)
-Ractive front strut tower bar
-custom mandrel bent 25 year stainless cat back exhaust w/ bruellen 9" oval can and 4" resonated tip.
-Madico Bronze 20% tint.
-Alpine head unit w/ AiNet 12 pack changer in trunk.
-Alpine V12 4 channel 50W/100W AMP currently powering (1) Pioneer 10" bandpass subwoofer. (Would shake the rear view mirror beyond usability before destorting) -currently only using half the amp's capabilities. Audible down to 14 Hz.
-Mazda optional Stainless steel door sills w/ MX-6 logo.
-Wiper arms painted to match body colour.
-Mazda sunroof wind deflector.
-Mazda nose mask most it's life, and have a new one in the box to go on. (very few stone chips in the original paint)
-Mazda 4 ply car cover made for the MX-6
-Under coated by the dealer in 93 - undercoating still intact, and no rust.
-Alarm with vibration, doors, and dual zone proximity sensors.
-fully loaded from stock w/ A/C still cold last time I used it.

Has not been E-tested, or certified, but I'm sure it will pass with flying colors. Every E-Test it ever had was extremely clean. (including one with old gas.) Has been parked in my garage for the last 2 years (occasionally started and driven around the block a few times)

Odometer is roughly 180k. Car has never been in any major accidents, and has never required any major engine work. Just spark plugs, plug wires, and wear items like brake pads/rotors. Nothing required as far as I know. I would not hesitate to take this car on a long trip if I desired to.

The attached pic is from 2001, but if I wax the car it will be in 100% condition as in the pic. Like i said... this car has been my baby. I hate to see it go. But it has come time. :(

Asking $4000 obo with Niche twister/summer tires.
or $3000 without Niche twister/summer tires.
(twisters will fit my wife's Mazda3 or my '09 Mazda6)

If interested you can email me at my user name (without the space) @rogers.com or PM me.
Thanks,
