FE3N Inlet and exhaust cams Dial up.

These are the results of the stock cams that i had dialed up recently.

Both inlet and exhaust were FE3N.

There will be some more pics over the next week of the inlet manifold. The whole Vics system has been gutted out for more plenum volume.

Cams are getting reground, but everything is on hold until i get my pistons. Which wont be too far off.

Not to bring up an old thread but to me it looks like the exhaust and intake cams are the same. ie: interchangeable?

on the line below, you will see 240deg as measured at the std tolerance. the other figure is the first deviation from round. or something like that... :-)

dont you know how to read cam profile print outs? the colomn labeled lift is obvously the amount of lobe lift at that point and the colomn to the right of that labeled dur is is the particular point bein messured as in 272 degees after tdc on no1 the inlet valve has 0.001 mm lift and so forth that print out doesnt go as far as haveing duration! i had every cam from a fedohc cam doctored about a year ago i will try find the print outs

no need to be a complete arsehole, one could reasonably say that 0.001mm was the "first deviation from round". furthermore, i wouldnt call it a life threatening knowledge deficiency to not know how to read an arbitrary piece of paper produced by a specialist industry. YouAsk has been a valuable member of this community, and to ask a question is never a bad thing. If you dont know, find out!

If i were a mod, i'd heavily edit your post(s)

wot the [fizzle] is your problem man you need to simply pull your head in i was giving a simple probably more understandable example of reading it! you need to grow up and stop nit picking ive probably had more experience with fe dohc turbos than any one on this forum! from vans to cosmos to utes and 626s even a bd 323 and i beleive the knowlege i have aquired from working as a professional in this industry specialising in this particular feild is probably more usefull to the question at hand than that that you may have figured (or read from someone elses post) from mounting a singular (hence not plural fe3 in your ute) diy style! ( you are forgetting i work in a performance shop and have allot of experience in all aspects of fe dohcs (turboed) from sorting clutch issues to tuning techneques, also probably had far more dyno time with fedohcs than all of yous put together on our inhouse dyno! so pull your head in and accept that you are not fedohc god and accept that someone else quite posibly done a littlke more of this than you and has developed a greater understanding

dudes from levin, a small town, with small horizons. dude lives in palmy.

a commonly known fact is that when the population of men signifigantly exceeds the population of woman in a given area, war is never far away.

as it happens palmy is the home of the nz army (one of the homes at least), and more than likely has more than its share of blokes...

we should understand his anger, and pray to the fe3 gods (possibly him) that he will calm down and lowe his blood pressure.

merry xmas to all still wasting their time in front of a pc at this time of year :-)
