I have an FE3N engine complete for sale, stripped down with nicely reco'ed head (polished ports and valves, reseated etc), all in parts in boxes. Engine all there cost me $1300 AUD, 70,000kms.

Custom wiseco 7.8:1 forged pistons with rings and pins that cost me $500 USD.

Custom pauter conrods with bearings that cost me $700 USD.

Abandoned project. Not much work left to get this beast going. Make me an offer. Tasmania, Hobart.

What else does it come with? Where did you get the motor from? Was it a motor only or was it from a half cut? Any electronics to go with it, factory computer and loom etc??

Is the bottom end built with the rods and pistons or are they new in boxes?

Brand new pistons and rods kits still in their boxes they came in. Bottom end not prepared for build you would need to balance the crank and get weight taken out of the counterweights for the lighter pistons and conrods. These conrods are very strong for high RPM and large turbo with lots of high end boost.

You would need a metal head gasket and find your own solid lifter solution for high RPM.

I have a built megasquirt V3 not tested on an engine before but interfaced with PC and appears to be working that I can throw in if you buy enough of this gear off of me I just want to gone because I need the money. Parts of factory wiring remain but not complete for a real project like I was planning you would need to buy a megasquirt (or your own flavour of ecu) wiring loom which do not cost much.

I got the motor from a japanese imported engine supplier that were at the time well known for sourcing FE3 motors but I forget the name of the company.

I don't mind sending the new pistons and conrods to anywhere in OZ but local buyers for the engine please. I can post the head at buyers expense for shipping. The block is heavy and all the engine parts are in many boxes. I would prefer to sell the engine, pistons and conrods as 3 seperate units and not seperate the engine up. If someone offers to buy the whole lot we can come to a good deal. This all turned into a big money hole for me. The pistons are for I think 20 thou.

Make an offer, they cost over $700 USD over 2 years ago and are still new.

I know I will end up with a loss by the end so if you give me a reasonable offer I will consider it.

It may sound silly, but I need a fe3 dipstick. Mine shipped without one and I'm pretty sure the f2t one is too short. It's the cast aluminum pan and high comp if that helps at all.

You can use the F2T dipstick if you use the F2T tube with it.

How in the hell do you get the tube out though? I'm pretty sure my old f2t block is sitting in my friends garden still.
