FE is alive!! Coil on plug/MSnS

Hello everyone, I have an other thread going but I am not sure if some if you guys make it over there. I got the probe up and running this week and it is off to have the manifold made tomorrow. Here are some pics/clips of it:

looks like you just have them sitting in, but also looks like brackets would be easy to make.

They are a little but too tall, but the fit nice and snug on the plugs themselves. I ran 8 gauge grounding wires to each coil and I am putting the spark plug cover over the top. Thanks, Nick

You can not find these coils on any stock SR20DET, they are an aftermarket kit for them.

I am pretty sure that you can not, these coils have built in ignitors.

wtf, so those arent stock sr20det coils? cause they ARE cop, and do look similar. are they "upgrades"? surely they are physically the same sizes...

That is correct, they are not stock on the sr20det. These are Splitfires. SplitFire Performance Ignition System

good job man if i heard the sound of the car with out looking at the vid i would have thought it was a rotary.

It is exciting, and I already have a nice turbo (GT35r) which is on the car right now, just have to get it back.
