As promissed. Out with the OLD

little pick for thoes looking for f2t parts.

Cleaned up GT gearbox

Getting her ready for her new home.

The clunker she is going into for startup and tuning.

Front view

Rust bucket.

The new clutch and ClutchNet HD pressure plate. Thanks to Derrik at Corksport. The man for hard to find parts, and good deals.

Tranny mounted.

Me and my point of view shots.

Just befor going in.

Dun Dun Dun. Drum roll please.

There she goes.

And a nasty warm beer for the exhausted s.o.b.

As you can tell by not seeing any ones ass in the pictures. I got to go at this prett mutch alone. My own brothe pussed out after only four hours of tinkering with the PGT and some brackets. So the last poicture is me putting her to bed. The stinking thing has to be bolted in and rolled out tomorrow so come hell or high water this swap ends tomorrow. Goodnight.

Is that ring gear on completely square? Who installed it? Are you sure it's on square? I'd recheck that if you're not. No sense chewing up bearings, rod and caps if you don't have to. The boost will be enough, an oddly installed out of round crank trigger could cause old bearings to turn worse if it wobbles too much.

O believe me its square. That was the third one i made because of that, and i would say it has a .1mm wabble to it and that is all. Thanks for the interest.

look into the way the honda boys do it :

I'm not a fan of the tubing length etc, but it does make it compact and good flowing...
