I shure think so, after all the crap i went through putting this project together i couldn't settle with any thing smaller than that. I was about to go with a Borg Warner S-400 but that was a little too big. We will see soon, thanks for the comment Larken.

LOL, I'm not waiting, just eager :-)

You do, after all, have the exact same turbo and engine as me, it should be very very interesting for both of us to compare various aspects and swap tunes etc to see how much air they are actually breathing at specific pressures etc. Obviously after you provide me with some of that info, you'll have to wait a year before I give you any back ;-)

Fred.

yes Fred unfortunatly my max redline is 6500 rpm's but i should be ready to shift 5500-6000 and not miss the difference. I figured the redline baised on piston speed. And at 6500 i was at 4010 fpm that is at hte beginning of the danger zone. I figure this should make for a longer lasting engine.

Kinda defeats the purpose of the head though, but still worth it as long as you do hit 6500 every time. If you don't rev it that hard it won't be in boost for long at all and will have a narrow power band.

That's a nice intercooler, I take it the rhs of the photo is IN and the lhs is OUT?

Fred.

While i am in the middle of the engine bay and front of the car i am also removing weight, next i hope to get rid of the pop up head lights and motors. I just need some Ideas of what will fit, besides the 300zx head lights. Maby some heads from a Saturn SC300? Open to ideas.

so you used the 2.2 crank with 2.0 rods and what pistons did you use??? if you used the 2.0 pistons you'll have a squish or quench of more than 4mm???
or did you use custom pistons???
by the way longer stroke and shorter rods isn't the best idea if you are planning on revving a bit...
