The synapse is a nice unit. Worth every penny and I'm sure you paid a lot of pennies.

ya i had an explanation for each picture but it was lost when i accidentally hit the wrong button. But yes thats the main connector for the ecu i desoldered it from the board so that i could keep the factory loom in the car, right on the money Dutch, i didnt want to hack the crap out of the factory harness. Later though i will completely remove the stock harness and solder all new connections to the ms harness. I just wanted a quick start harness.

make sure you get your power and your ground from good places.

also ensure that the sensors you are using arent grounded randomly.

these things will give you trouble if they are wrong, and they are often wrong with oem looms. they do things differently...

fine to get it going, but rewire parallel with the oem loom when you know its good to go.

my mate did his with a second loom such that he plugged and unplugged the sensors on the engine to disable/enable an ecu. thats a nice way to do it if you are swapping a lot (he was doing experiments for a thesis...)

fred.

After closer inspection of the previous turbo it had to be shipped back, the exhaust wheel was destroyed. So I got a new one.

yes, oil lubricated, and compressor is air cooled ;-) exhaust side is made to stay hot ;-) centre cartridge could be cooled a little by the oil flowing through it ;-)
