That wastegate is a bit flash for a log mani isn't it? I know it takes a while to grind down that gate bracket, but you could have put more effort into it than that! :-p

Looks really good, can't wait to see/hear it going :-)

Well this weekend i had to move my probe turbo to the shop befor my apartment manager had it towd at my expense. After talking to Fredio54 alittle i decided it was time to get off my arse and get some work done on the stroker project. The megasquirt will just have to wait till the motor is in. So this week i will take lots of pictures and inform you all of the progerss. This is the list of things i need to accomplish this week.

Timeing belt inspction and install: Tonight.

Injector change (330cc to 700cc): Start tonight.

Turbocharger install: Tomorrow.

Downpipe fabrication: Tomorrow.

Oil return install: Tomorrow.

Probe teardown: Start Wednesday

Probe teardown: Continue Thurseday

Probe transplant: Friday

Parts needed: if any one has a distributor main plug cover i greatly need one. This is the small cover with two holes that hold the hall sensor in place.

Last night I fought with the timing and got the engine set on the 5th time, mounted the crank pulley, installed the timing covers, installed the turbo, the oil feed, and the oil return. So here are some pictures for you viewing pleasure.

Also beautiful.

It is going to be VERY interesting to see how yours spools with the LOG and stock inlet. could be significantly faster, or slightly slower. Can't wait to see it up and running and get some data to compare against!

Fred (holding out for more pics and vids 1024x768 please)

That is part of the reason i went with a smaller tube for the mani. I wanted to increase the velocity to help it spool at 2500 to 2800 rpms. We will see if that will happen soon.
