For reference, the radiator hose from a 1997-03 Toyota or Lexus 3.0L will fit profectly to connect the upper radiator hose. You need to trim 5" of the long side to make perfrct length. 18.82 at Orielly's.

Ok, well i am almost on the road again BUT, the clutch is giving me problems. It will only dissengage when the car is off.

I can start the car in gear with the clutch pressed in and it doesn't move, like its normal.

However when the car is in nuetral and started i cannot get the it to go into gear with the clutch pedal pressed in.

Clutch disc: Stock replacement (new)
Pressure Plate: Spec Red, RX7 2500lb (new)
Pilot Bearing: Stock replacement (new)
Slave Cylinder: original equipment
Master Cylinder: original equipment
Clutch Line replaced with Cork Sport braided stainless steel (new)

Also i can take it though all gears smoothly when the car is off.

I am going to bleed the clutch hydrolic system again tonight and see where that gets me. I will also chack the clutch fork movement and see if it will travel any further by hand. Wish me luck.....

Problem solved. Solution: Adjust master slave cylinder rod. Pedal was out of spec.

Well its running ok at best. Thanks mostly to the information from Evo626. The ignition advance is set to 14°BTDC. I have no way to tune the fuel from adjusting the VAF so i get fuel cut at 4500 rpms.

Problems that i a have noticed with F2 Managment.

Vacuum advance is 6-18deg on F2 Dissy
Vacuum advance is 12-35deg on FE dissy
VAF needs adjustment. Wideband O2 required.

Also no port in the head or water neck for the factory coolant gauge sensor.

um. NA with factory management your pretty fool proof. just adjust the vaf & use smell from the exhaust to guage its level.

besides that.... why in gods name are you using vacum advance

My mate put NA F2 management on his FE3, worst thing he ever did. We changed it to F8-DOHC management and it was marginally better but still not ideal.

How long are you planning to run around like that for? If its going to be semi-permanent maybe try track down some stock FE3 injection gear, even with the extra .2L, it HAS to be better than F2 stuff.

I am working on the megasquirt install immedatly. The F2 managment is piss poor at best. Looks like i will be using my MS1 V3.0 with stock F2 injectors.
