Based on mean piston speed, 6500rpm limit. This is due to the rod ratio and stroke. If you want any more build information start a new thread.

I had aftermarket rods in mine, and it had good power to 6800, limiter set at 7k, wouldn't have pushed the stock rods on a stroker much over 6500 too much...

I fired the ole MX6 up tonight. I look forward to getting it to maximum potential and finding the rev limit. I have never had it above 15 psi and 5500 rpms.

Thanks for all of the interest over the years.

So here's the big picture problem. When I last drove the car I was experiencing some overheating and bubbling from the radiator reservoir. I now also have a drum brake issue with consistent siezing.

After I got the car started on Sunday, which took some diagnostic electrical troubleshooting, I started moving forward with mechanical diagnostics.

I started with a cold compression test which show 120 PSI across all 4 cylinders. Then I moved on to the cooling system pressure test which revealed a leak in the lower radiator hose. After I address this and the brake issue I will verify that my cooling fan is functioning correctly and test the car out again.

I still wish I had gotten rid of my drum brakes I moved up 2 GT calipers and rotors.

Tonight I got the rear brake drum completely disassembled and strip down. Tomorrow I'm going to pick and pull to find a suitable replacement and if possible grab the entire rear brake setup from a GT. My coolant hose should be in tomorrow night and then I can move forward with the rest of my testing procedure.
