Those With Kia FE3, A Flywheel that may fit....

well i was searching for a b2600 bellhousing on the net and I came across some pics of a b2600 flywheel(the one with a mazda engine, not mitsu). I think it may work on a kia fe3 with the 8 bolt crank. Non of my local auto stores have one in stock, so I can't verify for sure.
here is what i got, correct me if I'm wrong..
90-93 b2600
uses the same 240mm pressure plate and clutch disc as an f2t.
has an 8 bolt crank pattern like a kia fe3
also has the same amount of ring gear teeth (116) as an f2t.
now there could be a bunch of other reasons why it wouldn't work, but I think if someone can get the 2 flywheels in person to compare, there might be a chance. I am still searching auto stores to see if they have one in stock.
if it does fit I would be pretty upset, because I spent $400 on a custom aluminum one.

damn, thats a good find schwine!

if thats the case it means easy flywheel swaps for me in nz because those engines are common there. f2t isnt...

if i convert to a diesel crank and use those i'm golden :-)

well done K if it lets me :-)

I think may be true as i just had a custom 2600lbs pressure plate made and it was from a Ford Courier (it was 240mm) which I know is a rebadged mazda.

mazda 626 turbo

b2600 petrol here was 250mm

However the b2600 petrol carby matched (and uses the same clutch in the cat)

Might be worth a read
