Mustang TB adapter

I am going to be swapping over to the 65mm mustang tb. I am going to make the adapter plate myself, do you think this is a suitable peice of aluminum. The machine shop by me only carries 1/4" aluminum.

nice... I won the aluminum plate.
Now I need a mustang throttle body.
I am going to keep an eye on this one, because I think a 70mm will still fit on the stock intake with the adapter plate.
eBay Motors: 2000 Ford Mustang 70mm Throttle body (Aftermarket) (item 160197272454 end time Jan-16-08 10:17:21 PST)
if i don't win it, i'll just get a stock 65mm one for 20-30 bucks.

it has a similar 5 volt reference TPS, also has 3 wires. It will work fine with the SDS system I have. Should work with the stock ecu if wired right.

Finished up the adapter plate today and it's a perfect fit. I just have to clean up the mustang TB,weld on the f2 wheel, get some gaskets, and port match the intake.
here's the finished pics...
