I think this would work as well. Im not out, and no offense to schwine, who I know is a very well known member, but handing money to somebody (that we dont know/seen/met besides this website) thats going to be in contact with the producer (that noe of us have talked to) that then is going to make the product, and evetually get a part, and etc etc etc does sound a bit on the unsafe side. Cant they not set a project manager or a sales manager and make a product number for us, and give us a contact person in the Scat company that we call and we pay for our order?

BTW Im noney ready now, but if we could wait untill the friday after next (next payday) it would be swell.

Again, Im all for this, and if it comes down to, I trust Schwine, but Im jsut saying for those who may want to go to sleep without the thought that they gave $150 or so dollars to a total stranger.

I sent Rob (m2cupcar) over 650us from NZ on trust alone when I hardly knew him and he had been on this board a very short time. I have a turbo on my ute, both of us are happy :-)

Better to trust and get screwed than not trust IMO. The world would be a sad sad sucky place if we were all paranoid all the time. I'd say you are more likely to get screwed by someone on ebay than here. Here they have a full record of IP addresses that can be pinned back to a subscriber to a dsl service etc if worst came to worst.

my 2c

Fred.

^Thats a very good point fred. At the same time, it was you and another person when you made the deal. We're talking about a good 40 people trusting money to one person, who in my mind is a trustable one and a respected member, but not necesarily on all's minds. Also, this way would relieve a lot of strain on schwine of worrying for ungoldy ammounts of money, people's payments, who's who and who they paid to, and then being the mediator between them and Scat and making sure they put up as well. And, worst case scenario and heaven forbid, if Scat dosent put up, he has to be responsible for all those people's money.

Again, Im willing to trust Schwine with the cash. He has given me nor anyone else a reason to not do so. But on his interest and on all's concience, I would suggest that if we could get somebody in the company to be our sales manager or project manager, give us a sales code or project code, and we all direct to him (like they do on cruise lines), well, that would be all the more swell.
