SCAT RODS (Update...finally)

ok they finally got back to me today, they can definetly make them and still keep it at the same price. The problem is setting up the payment. They can't take paypal. They need half of the price of the rods as a deposit. so I don't really know how to go about it. so i am open to ideas...

What a PITA....Paypal would have been just too easy.

I'll have a chat with my local post office and see what they say about international MO's but there is likely to be a hefty charge associated with it.

Schwine, do you feel like setting up a paypal account in your name and collecting the cash ?

I would trust you, but I am not sure everyone else is that trusting, or whether you want the responsibility.....
At least with paypal, you can see who has paid what, and it will probably happen quicker than waiting for international Mo's and some people may be put off by that and it might cause people to drop out.

I think schwine has been around long enough to be trusted. Still, it's a huge sum of cash. Shame they won't just bite the bullet and get one themselves.

I trust Schwine! So if we all transfer the money to Schwine and he pays to Scat. It's easy?

Sorry for my bad english.

that's what i was thinking about doing. I do have a verified paypal account. It's just that i don't think everyone would be comfortable doing that. also when money gets sent to me, paypal charges a small fee, so everyone may have to pay a little extra. If everyone can agree on doing that, I would be willing to do it that way.

Note, only the shadiest character even questioned the idea.

I would suggest m2cupcar as I 200% trust him with anything. I doubt he'd be up for it though as he's awfully short on time.

Go shwine!

if we did go through my paypal account, i think we would have to schedule it for a set date/time. So that everyone pays at the same time , then I can just pay scat right away and I don't have people money sitting in my paypal account for a month because some people have yet to pay. So i think we need to get everyone on the list into this thread and try and set something up....

What is the fee for you, I think its about 2.4% for me which is about $7...thats no problem for me, and I dont have any issue sending you the money via paypal.
