65mm Mustang Thottle Body Part 2

Throttle Body Swap Part 1:
http://www.mx6.com/forums/fe-dohc/20...b-adapter.html (Mustang TB adapter)

Today I finished everthing for the TB swap except for wiring the tps, just gotta figure out which wire is which.
I had to take the intake apart so I could port match the intake for the mustang TB, and in the process the homemade gasket ripped apart. I wasn't looking forward to making another one but I had to.... also had to make a gasket for inbetween the spacer and intake because a factory f2t one didn't have enough material on it.

Port matching...

Custom spacer on...

Everthing installed and a shot inside...

Cable installed...

and a little video of some throttle action....

the stock mustang TB spring seems to work fine. I mounted the throttle cable in the factory location, just had to tweak the bracket a bit.

How does the mx6 manage idle control? I've got an IAC hanging on the bottom my dinky 55mm Miata/mx5 tb... wonder how bad that's hurting flow?

Idle valve on the side of the factory throttle body. But I think Schwine is going to get rid of all the factory controles and go MS. By the way great work man cant wqit to see that thing in the lineup on PINKs.

the idle control on them all seems to be wax stat + pwm valve. with MS you can just control the pwm part alone if you still have it. I need to find an external pwm valve for that. the wax part of the oem one is obviously temperature dependent so as to make the pwm numbers more consistent across temp.

im just going to adjust the idle in hot condition with the screw on the tb and open an aux valve on the manifold when coolant is under 40 degrees(celcius)
fuel is controld by map anyways so...

by the way im using the vr6 tb. not because its better than the mustang but i got 2 for free! its pretty big but needs some machining because it has a real strange bump inside. thats because of the crazy vr6 mani.
can post pics if someones intrested. have one machined and one stock.
