Fred you'll like this.

YouTube - DMTGT40RTeg10kRPM

He can (has the ability with the turbo, not necessarily engine or tuning) make a lot more power. he does however need a larger A/R exhaust side for that. It would be nice to find out whats going on with it now but I think this is just a collection of videos from the shop. The very end was what I wanted you to see. Nice whoever made it.

I'm surprised it made so little at both 24psi AND 10krpm. I'd expect more too. Having said that, you can hear the engine weezing in the last 2k or so, perhaps it's got stock or too mild a cams or something?

The back pressure is about 1:1 which is pretty good I reckon, nice to see it in practice, any pics of the manifold that produced it?

Fred.

Well, he has the .84 A/R exhaust housing and when you get into turbos as large as the GT40 AND 42 you can easily make 200-300hp more by simply using the 1.15 A/R exhaust housing without changing anything else. I dont have any more additional photos, I just came acrossed that randomly.

PS- I can't believe I left out the F

Fred something else you'll like:

Sound Performance Quick Spool Valve Sound Performance Online

A wastegate attached to a T4 flange that allows full exhaust to one side of the volute (outer major diameter of the turbine) at low RPM and as boost is increased it opens up and allows exhaust pulse to the other side (minor diameter) as well. It could use some redesigning but, friggen awesome idea!

A bit of a let down for power here, I agree with Fred, the engine isn't breathing well by the looks of things. I doubt the cams are stock but they definitely aren't making the grade in the video.
