Fe3 cams in F8-Dohc ?

I have a F8-Dohc.
Was wondering if putting some FE3 (FE5A) Cams in my F8-Dohc would be a straight swap, with no problems.

Would I get much performance gain?

Also if anyone noes other mods that can be done to these motors, let me no.

Pretty sure that you will find that your F8-DOHC head will have the FE3 markings as well, as far as I know, they are the same head. FE3 is just what the head casting is, the 2 litre is called the FE-DOHC. I can't swear it, but I am pretty sure the replacement head I put on my capella 2.0 came from an 1.8 at pick-a-part. The cams would fit directly, what numbers on the current camshafts? The 1.8 tended to have smaller cam profiles to help with the low end torque.

The piston reliefs may not accept the highr lift of the FE5A cams.
