For those with SDS and FE3

Fallguy help me to figure out that vics related rpm errors can easly be fixed by adding two 3 amp 50v diodes between the power and negivate wires of the vics solineod.

Also I figured out that by common error you might be trying to adjust the idel soly by using the computer. I noted a huge gain in power by simply turning the idle adjustment screw until the car ideled a little higher and an aduioable sucking noise could be heard for the intake. You can then use lower fuel number for the 750-1000 range. There was a large improvment in perofrmance across the board.

Also if you havent done so upgrade your exhaust systems to 2.5-3inch manderal bent and you will notice a huge impovement.

I have an adjustable FPR. I noticed that higher fuel pressure made what felt like more tq but laged in the top end. I found for my car the idel fuel pressure was around 35-38psi.

With that being said I also noted that the best place for the map sensor would have to be to t it in with the FPR. It doesn't futuate as much as when mounted behind the TB.

My question now is ever sense I swtiched to the sds my a/c no longer works. How can I fix this problem?

I already have that. All that does is rasie the rpms when the a/c is acivated. Unforanactly my a/c doesn't trun on. There doesn't seem to be any power going to the ac clutch.
Is it posable that I could hook some relays to the a/c clutch and and coninserfan and have the a/c switch turn it on that way?

did you disconnect a fuse, or miss a ground wire to the a/c clutch?

maybe your compressor is dead...

The a/c worked before I removed the stock ecu. The compressor clutch should recieve 12vs in order for it to turn on. But it no long gets power. I was looking at the wiring diagram I have and it looks like the ecu had something to do with the a/c. I found the wire that went into the ecu and when I ground it I can here an audiable click but still no power to the a/c. All of the fuse are good. I think a/c operaction was controled by the ecu.
With that being said I think that I am going to make a relay to power the compressor clutch and the a/c fan. I will just have to deal with not having the econ option anymore.

yeah, damned ecu probly has everything running to it in some way or another.

probly the ecu is what controlled how the econ option worked... timed it for turn-on and shut-off.

try putting 12v to the a/c power wire, see if that will get it to blow cold, then i guess run a toggle switch to it?

I figure I'm going to open the dash and wire a relay to the a/c on button. That relay will put 12v to both the a/c fan and the clutch. I think it will be pretty simple to do, just time consuming.

I got my HKS catback on ebay. Its one of the best systems made for the 6.
I also go my a/c to work. Hooked a relay to the power wire of the conidser, fan, and clutch then put a switch inside the car. Blow nice and cold.
