1st and 2nd Gen Indiglo Gauge Faces

That's right. Since I heard that no one makes indiglo, or electroluminescent gauge faces for the 1gen anymore I decided to make some myself. What you will be purchasing will be printed with an Epson Stylus Photo R800 that uses pigment ink lightfastness rated over 100 years.

Pricing: STARTING AT $120 USD SHIPPED to the USA! A lot of other countries are only $6 more. I am trying to keep the price low so you will have to do more work yourself. The base price includes 4 hours of customizations.
Base Pricing:
1Gen: $120
2Gen MTX: $120
2Gen ATX: $125

Extras:
Design time over 4 hours: $5/hr (Once I hit 5 hours, you owe $5. If I take 4:59 on your gauges, you owe nothing.)
Punch Holes: $10
Cut out Odometer & Trip: $20
Inverter: $5 (Inverter is bright but does not have a brightness adjustment nor does it have standard el glow wiring.)

New with the gauges will be standard el glow wiring so getting an inverter from ebay or this top of the line inverter will make installation MUCH easier.

Starting Choices:
Speedometer:
MPH (150+10)
km/h (240+10)
km/h (200+10)
km/h (180+10)
Marks Every 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20
Small Speed (so you can have metric and imperial) marks every 5, 10 or 20
Tachometer:
Redline 6000 RPM
Redline 6500 RPM
Redline 7000 RPM
Any Redline you want
Temp and Fuel gauges:
Letters: H/C and E/F (English) or substitute your own letters for a different language.
Numbers: 40/120 (Celcius) and 0/1, 104/248 (Fahrenheit) and 0/1
Symbols: Blue/Red Circle or Engine Block Symbols and Hollow/Solid Circle
Combination of the above.
Backlight Color:
White
Any color I can print
Face Color:
Anything I can print
Glow In The Dark: Add $30. Will also glow in the dark when off.
Extras:
I can make a matching "idiot light" strip (where the oil, charge, seatbelt, etc indicators are) for an extra $10
2gen: I can make a matching HVAC panel for $10 or $30 with indiglo. I am able to do this for 1gen, I just don't have the scan of the panel.
Custom: Didn't I already cover this. I told you you don't have a choice, I give it to you for free. Basically about anything you can think of. Want a certain picture in your faces? Want different color "tick" marks at certain places? Want a different font?

Did you say you wanted pictures?

Customizations:
Tachometer:

Speedometer:
Development (Who Wants Vector Format Face Gauges?)

You know, there is an easier way of doing this with better results. I dont know what your gauges look like underneath but I have a source that sells 2" mini ccfl tubes. With your gauges that would have the same effect as lexus gauges.

2" mini ccfl tubes? And what Lexus gauges. I've never seen them. I think I know what you're talking about, and no one that I know of have showed any interest in that style.

yes they look awesome - what is involved in getting a paypal account from new zealand when you do not have a credit card ? is there a way?? also when I do order mine is it possible to make it so the numbers etc all look as dark or hidden as possible until the key is turned on - i.e white to blue EL with white writing on clear printing so it all looks white until I turn the key then the background lights up blue with the white numbers

If you live in New Zealand you need a bank account (savings or checking) that is in US Dollars or Australian Dollars. I also have a greenzap account (Panther37.) I can't tell if they only accept USD or not. You could goto the the post office and get Cash in USD and send it to me. I can't accept a traveler's check becasue I am not a business. I found that for a $25 NZD fee Westpac will write a check in a foriegn currency. If you don't bank with Westpac, I would expect your own bank would have similar services. You could always try Western Union. There is an agent that is a 5 minute walk from my house.

In Review:
Go try these places, Post Office, Bank, Western Unioin.
$96 USD is about $143 NZD

email me at panther37@gmail.com so I can start working on a proof for you.

Yes. The only thing I would need is a good picture of the speedo. Then I could make it from that. I'll look into it today and post if I find it before you send it to me. My email is my username @ mx6.com or @ gmail.com

Thanks!
