Im not meaning to clutter your thread (even though we are ) but the reverse could be said too .. You are "complaining" over the same amounts .. trying to get every penny you can out of the (rightly so) .. Just as a seller I follow the "bird in the hand" motto and may take a small cut in price to move a product .. Instead of waiting maybe months and months for that "perfect" customer ... The # of people actually wanting these parts are dwindling like the parts are dwindling .. Its all just a balancing act of what to sell and what to hold on too .. and it may pay off for you in the end or you may end up with some useless lights and mirrors in your garage ..

But what we think doesnt matter they are your parts and you can do as you wish I just hope you come around to my way of thinking soon I hate to see those mirrors just sitting there !! LOL ... But if I do find others in my price range or a seller thats willing to negotiate a little Ill be willing to work with them .. I mean really you could have sold me the mirrors for $155 And Id send you the shipping label (saving you $20+ .. which would put the value at $175) .. and you could sell ragin' the switch for $25 .. and youd have your $200 .. But your have your mind set to not split it and to get the $200++ out of them .. Just my thoughts

i follow your mindset ... but here is mine

1. the parts are near exstinct
2. It pains me to move on to another project and im moving slow becuase of it
3. its not the money ... Im not broke and what they are worth is what they will sell for (even if it takes 2 - 3 years, months days whatever)
4. As a business parnet (within the industry) I am all to familiar with some of your bullet points, but when the availability dwindles on a part, the price goes up ... supply and demand (i just sold an amp that has been off the market for 6 years, for double what it cost new)

I take two steps forward, then take 4 steps back

An Amp for double ?? You find some great buyers !! I wish I had your luck !!

As for the parts we both agree they are dwindling but you have to admit as well that serious buyers are dwindling as well ..

the amp was one of the Old School US Amps (back when US Amps was still made in the USA) ... I was shocked when our auction ended

Serious buyers are dwindling as well, but its a matter of timing ... and there will always be a small niche market for things like this ...

Let's not bring up how much "we" got the J-Spec for, if you know what I mean Seriously, the man got a point, if I put 3 bills on the table now, I doubt anyone on this board will take the money and hand me their lights, hell I wouldn't sell either set of my J-Spec for that price consider how cheap I got both of them for, I can make $500 easily by selling both for $300 a pair. IMHO these lights worth $400 as long as this car exist, but that's just me.

About them mirrors, I would definitely hand him $220 if I didn't pick up a bunch of shinny motor parts the past weekend. The way I see it is spend $50 extra now or risk it not to see them on sale again, I don't care about any "what if", $50 insurance is well worth it if you really want the parts.

That's a year ago, I see them on eBay for $155 or so a year or 2 ago too, but this is now. Back in 2002, I had a chance to pick up a full MS lip kit for $400 + shipping, but I didn't and I regret it, if I offer Ragin $400 for his MS kit now I'm sure he'll laugh his A$$ off.

do me a huge favor

please

stop cluttering my sale thread with this ... im more than annoyed now. If you want to buy it ...

pay what im asking

if you dont like what im asking ... move on seriously at what point do you just give up ... you have lost ANY chance of me lowering the price on these strictly out of principal

ps. a feeler thread isnt a for sale thread, hell you should have bought it last year for 150 then, becuase in 12 months if i still have these ... ill raise the price to 250 becuase of inflation
