I have a short throw shifter (I was told it was custom made by the member "jomanchu", but I don't know if it is since I haven't found anything of the such on the forums), it does have built in bearings (like the rr-racing sts i think), so instead of re-using stock bushings you would just add a couple of washers as spacers for the shifter to the fork.
^^ The shifter doesn't sit much lower than stock height, but the throw is reduced a lot, one of the best sts' i've felt. I just put a b&m knock off shifter in my car with the uhmpw bushings, which aren't used with this shifter
Also have a stock shift boot, from my 96. Cheapo style without the plastic washer glued in (the washer that props the boot up on the shifter, the diameter of the stock shift knob base) - and I think the 96-97 boots are cheaper material than the 93-95 (atleast mine is more "paper" feeling than the stock shift boots i've seen in 93-95 probes) - it's still attached to the plastic base as it just was unscrewed from the console.
Anyway here are pics:
And also includes all the stock rubbers (or you could re-use the ones already on your car, either way)

Get to me if you want it, this stuff is just sitting around since I have no use for it.
The shifter height sits < 1" lower than stock, but the throw is a lot shorter (1/3?), it sits higher than my ebay shifter and it has less throw
