To make a almost a 2 year long story short… I basically gradually built my dream MX-6, finished everything, then 2 weeks later a 70 year old woman in a Buick pulls out in front of me. That’s how it ends. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to redo this so I’ve forcibly moved on. It’s been a month and I’m still not over it. Anyways…
I was planning on keeping this car for years so there is no half-ass work anywhere. I would part this out but I simply don’t have the time so I’m only selling it as a whole. (So please don’t request individual parts). And when I say as a whole, you get everything I have that has anything to do with an MX-6 (as you will see in the pictures.) It is a true ZE, was chipped with a ZE chip, and ran perfect with the JE-50 VAF. It pulled hard and sounded great. Idled at 650 consistently. No leaks, no problems at all. I’ve essentially done all the hard work here, to transplant this into your car just look how I have every cable, hose and wire run and it will start right up on the first try. I’ve repositioned the cruise control with a custom bracket, made a custom bracket to mount the Hotshot Intake on the KLZE manifold etc. It’s pretty much a swap kit that just needs someone with more time then I have.
Here's the rundown:
1. 1993 Mazda MX-6 LS w/ 96,000 Miles
2. Recent $1,800 repaint of the original Burgundy, body is pretty much flawless (except for the obvious)
3. Tan Leather interior, never smoked in, excellent condition.
4. 93-94 MINT condition Probe GT 16” Wheels with Mazda Center caps
5. Bridgestone Potenza S-07 225/50/16 (OE RX7 R1 Race Tires) UTQG is 140 (2000 miles on them)
6. KLZE Swap, True ZE (see pics for casting ID’s)
7. KL31 Chipped ECU, car runs and drives perfect, only codes are for EGR (which I removed and blocked off the hole for it in the rear header).
8. Full Hot Shot Intake including elbow and all connectors inline JE-50 JDM VAF
9. Mazda MX-3 Transmission (90,000 miles) that offsets the taller wheel/tire combination and makes the speedometer accurate. No grinds shifts like butter.
10. Hot Shot Headers with new gaskets and stainless steel hardware with lock washers (2000 miles on gaskets)
11. Clutch is Clutch Masters Stage 1 with a Fidanza 8lb flywheel (2000 miles, broken in for the first 1000 (Yes one thousand miles, like I said I didn’t half-ass anything, I was planning on having this car for a long time). The Fidanza makes it rev like a 4-cyl engine.
12. SS Front Brake lines
13. Suspension Techniques 1” drop springs
14. B&M Short Throw shifter (4000 miles)
15. Gutted Cat
16. Brand new Front Rotors (rears are not even .000 out of round)
17. Brand new Front and Rear brake pads (1000 miles on them)
18. Recent Exhaust
19. Connectors for installing an aftermarket head unit
20. Urethane Front and Rear motor mounts (perfect durometer urethane that doesn’t cause the whole car to shake like inserts do.)
21. Just passed VA State Inspection
22. Rest of the stuff is shown the pics, if you know MX-6’s or Probes you can easily ID the parts
I’ll add more as it comes to me…
I just need this thing out of my garage. Looking for $2000 - $2500 which I feel the car is easily worth. You basically have everything here to turn an Automatic I4 into the Ultimate MTX KLZE Powered MX-6. Or you could just buy it and part it out yourself and make some money. I have PM disabled so only use the e-mail user below to contact me. I check my email multiple times a day.
