1995 Suzuki GSXr 750, not sure of actual miles but I think about 30k
not in running condition, but would NOT take much to get it going. (I could prolly get it started, but would need a lot to stay running and it will not idle)
I will no longer ride the bike, as I seem to be an idiot magnet on the road, and am not going to risk my son growing up without his father.
Ive had hardcore harley riders pull up next to me at lights and compliment me on how "aggressive" the bike looks.
it was running last summer, but started running rough and has been sitting for a year under a waterproof bike cover, although even so the bike would need a good cleaning.
the paint isnt in the best of shape, all due to the previous owner, who laid it down 1 time, and also had someone tow him by the front fairing (cracking it and breaking where it clips to the main upper stay)
I will supply a base upper fairing with it that would need to be cut some to fit it, or use it as a racing fairing (but will cover the headlights)
there is some positive.
new ceramic brake pads with maybe 100 miles.
stainless steel brake lines, both front/rear
KLH "on the fly" adjustable short clutch/brake lever. (2/3 finger)
what it needs that I know of
rebuild the carbs (possibly, just giving the worst case scenario, it may need nothing more than a cleaning)
replace both seals on front forks (1 side is good, but other leaks, and I wouldnt risk riding bike with only 1 solid fork seal) seals can be bought off ebay for like $20, but should be professionally installed.
a really good cleaning, and possibly new paint.
seal on crankshaft cover (you can see the small spot of oil under the bike, that is from that seal)
tires look good, but they have been on the bike for the 3 yrs Ive owned it, so not sure if I would trust them (recommended to change tires on any vehicle every 4 yrs, regardless of how much tread is left on them)
most likely a new battery
I also have some accessories that can go with the bike for additional $$.
1.
Icon "Daytona" style leather upper, blue w/ pearl stripe
2.
HJC large helmet, color scheme matches bike pretty good
3.
Shoei helmet, size med, matches jacket (I was planning on painting bike to match helmet/jacket)
4.
icon "merc" gloves, these are full gloves, mid arm length, size large, black with carbon fibre knuckle protectors.
4.
shift summer glove, leather and light material, but does have knuckle protectors, also black.
those things alone would cost someone $700.o
I'll sell the accessories separate for $600.o
the bike by itself for $1,000.oo
or everything for $1500.o
the price is not set in stone, so make some offers, but please avoid lowballing as Im pretty aware of the value of the bike and accessories.
I'll try and get pics of accessories tomorrow, along with a pic of the bike w/ my username, but there are a couple of pics taken within the past 6 months.
