FS: FE DOHC (FE3) fully built for turbo, GT tranny, etc.: see thread for more...

Ok, well, after having this thing sitting in my driveway for well over 2 years now I have decided it isn't worth it anymore. I don't even know how much I have spent on this setup, so no matter what this is a hell of a deal.

The motor is built with forged Venolia pistons at 8.5:1 comp ratio. It has 000 miles on it. I rebuilt it a year and a half ago and never finished the car. All it really needed was the manifold and exhaust setup finished. It has Celvite 77 bearings throughout, Total Seal rings. The injectors ARE NOT INCLUDED! Neither is the exhaust manifold, just the motor and intake manifold. See farther down for the ex. mani. The motor starts and runs just fine, but is a little smokey, as should be expected I guess for a newly rebuilt motor. I just started it up today and it sits at 25psi of oil pressure at a 750rpm idle, and jumps to 50psi by 2000rpms. Motor has the aluminum oil pan, and some spare parts also. A spare aluminum oil pan and gold valve cover are included.

I am asking $1000 for the motor + shipping, which will run $300 or so. I will need your address to get an actual quote. Also taking offers, but don't insult me.

GT Tranny: this tranny was rebuilt by JayB (not the most popular name last time I was on here but he still did it so...). Has new axle seals in it, new throwout bearing, and Royal Purple Synchromesh tranny fluid, which will be drained and probably disposed of properly since I can't ship it full of fluid.

I am asking $400 for the tranny + shipping. Once again I need an address to get a shipping quote. Taking other offers on this too.

Custom made exhaust manifold for the FE DOHC (FE3). It has a flange for a T3 turbo on it. I had a T3/T4 for it, just never got it installed. I paid $450 for this manifold when I had it made.

Asking $250 shipped for it, but taking offers too.

650CC injectors for the FE fuel rail. I paid $400 for these, asking $200 shipped. These will need some new O-rings by now, sitting for this long will have rotted them out by now.

Full 3" turbo back exhaust, minus the bend from the turbo. You will need to get something made with a flange for whatever turbo you have. This fits ANY Mazda MX6 GT. It has no cat and a MagnaFlow muffler. It was a PSI Racing exhaust when they were around. Also has flex pipe. Asking $300 if picked up or + shipping if you want it shipped. I will need your address to get a shipping quote.

PM me with any questions and offers, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Look for more stuff to come soon as I am parting out this entire car.

Forgot to mention the SDS is also for sale, programmed to run 15psi on a t-bird turbo, with all sensors. Spent $1300 on it when I bought it. Make offers as I haven't decided on a price yet.

It would probably take $3000 to get the whole car. Engine, tranny, turbo, SDS, seat, etc, etc. I could probably get more than that from parting it out but if I got rid of it all at once I'd do it anyways.
Forgot to mention the Fidanza 9lb flywheel in it, and it has an ACT 6-puck clutch b/c I killed one of their high performance street disc and PP setups; spun the springs on the disc. This clutch has maybe 300 miles on it, and the tranny has 000 also since JayB rebuilt it.

I assume you mean the pressure plate and clutch disc. I paid over $400 for it only 300 miles before I stopped driving it. I'd say $200 for it, but right now I can't get to it b/c the engine and tranny are still in the car. It will take me a couple hours to get them out and apart.

I can't even remember it's been so long since I bought them. And they too are still in the car, and I have to pull the intake manifold in half to get them off, which if you really want them I can get them off, it is just a major PITA!

A lot. Won't sell the motor for less than $1000, and won't sell the turbo for less than $500. If you want the manifold too I won't sell it for less than $200. Injectors would probably be $200, so $1900 for all of that.

this is a damn good deal for an fe3 setup, so anyone looking to low ball any more should consider theyre getting a deal as it already stands.

not low balling. need somewhat of a warranty on motor due to the fact that it has just been rebuilt and it smokes which is normal for a few minutes. if i buy and it don't stop smoking, goodbye for me. i have a fe3 already, needs new oil pump. ran low on oil and didn't want to push it by just replacing the pump. i'm plan on rebuilding the whole motor which is going to be for like 8G. the way i want it though. but if i can get his for 1, i would. my setup is identical to his now.

There is no sort of warranty at all on this motor, just as there wouldn't be on any fully built engine. You break it it's all you, as I can't vouch for how you drive or what you do to it. I know it was built well as I know this shops' work, but I am not offering a warranty on it at all.
Sorry.
