the MSD site seems to recommend the 6AL for our cars....but thats just the 6A with a rev limiter....which i dont think we even have anyways....does the 6A override the stock rev limiter and leave it open? or do we even have a rev limiter on the F2T

i'll have to do some more reading....not sure if i want to go with the 6A or the MSD 6-btm one that you can control timing with boost etc...but not sure if that will interact well with MegaSquirt...the 6A might be easier to work with

The Megasquirt will be over ridden by the btm. If you use it it will make it really hard to tune. On the other hand you could use it as a safety cushon. If the tuning is to advanced on spark and you are getting to high of EGT's the BTM could be used as an alternative solution.

ya i did some more reading, seems the BTM isnt a great option for MS, the setup Keeloh is selling here is the way to go

can you even hook this up with the stock ecu or do u have to be running megasquirt

DD - 88 Mazda 626 Turbo, 5 door, white with blue interior, manual transmission, probinator chip, 15 psi, exhaust, many more things to come...
Parts car - 90 Mazda 626, N/A, Automatic, need a part let me know

Yes, you can hook it up with the stock ecu and stock motor. Don't need ms.

payment sent for MSD 6A and tach adapter....i assume you will include the wiring that you have pictured too....i dont need the blaster 2 coil or the coil holder, but id like everything else
